The hat hoop accessory is a simple metal bar. I just use a short stainless steel ruler that came in a set of three from Amazon and a couple of extra magnets.
Good to know, I don’t embroider enough hats to justify the extra expense, love the magnetic hoop. For all my hoops I have created a simple basted centred cross design that I stitch out first on the stabiliser, with no thread in the needle. You can see the needle holes clearly and you don’t have to risk using disappearing ink pens (which may not disappear) It saves having to draw on a placement cross and it shows exactly where my machine thinks the centre of the hoop is
thanks for the helpful videos ladies! What is the maximum size embroidery area for a hat do you think you can get away with, with that set up, please? Or do you think the Boss Lady design you did is maybe it? If that made sense! thanks Clare :)
Clare Marie Brown Fine Art , thanks so much for the question! The hoop attachment is designed to work with the 180x130 magnetic hoop, so it would obviously have to fit within that embroidery area, but the true limits would be set by WHAT you are embroidering on... so “Boss Lady” took up the available space of this hat...but it would vary...a larger hat would accommodate a bigger design...etc I hope that answers your question..🙃😉
I’m just ordering the topaz 50 and beef this hoop and all the accessories to go with it the metal bar and magnets 🧲 but I Lu e in California and can you do a hat on a t-50?
That is a very early video for us, there is actually another video on the channel for using your hat hoop adapter! I like to think that we have gotten better 🫣🫣🫣. Thanks for watching ☺️
So sorry that you didn’t like the video, that is a pretty early one, and we were really trying to find our way…I like to think that we have gotten much better!! Hope you give them a shot 😘
So sorry to hear that! In our defense, it was an early video and I think we’ve come a long way 🫣…please give us another shot, and thanks for watching!!😊

Although it is a pretty uncomplicated piece, it does have cut outs for more secure hooping of your hat...just sayin...😏🤗😉

Is there a phone number I may call to ask a couple of questions, please
Record with the phone sideways. It's designed to film in widescreen. You won't have black bars on the sides.
Does it work on any embroidery machine?
@@barbararichardson2350 no, I’m afraid it is made for the 180x150 metal hoops for Husqvarna/Viking and pfaff
❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 and thanks for watching!!
What kind/brand stabilizer did you use here? Thanks!
Thanks for watching!! I used the kimberbell, sticky back tear away stabilizer.

Where can I find this magnetic hoop.and bar for hats
You can find the hoop and hat attachment though any Husqvarna Viking dealer! 😉
What size needle are you using
I use a 90/14 Microtex needle, almost exclusively, for embroidery. 😉
Too many Interruptions
Maureen Perko so sorry...I’ll have to work on that..🤭🙃
I lost interest fast. Maybe redo the video. And upload a new version of all this.
