    That comment about cleaning your house is totally out of order! I would have told the commenter where to shove his comment and blocked him. What gives “him” the right to be so rude to someone who is kind enough to give us a glimpse into your personal life and your beautiful family. Your house is not unclean or even that untidy. It’s lived in and loved. People like that commenter make me so mad! We love your untidy life and your untidy family! lol ❤ You guys do a phenomenal job raising 2 beautiful children and taking care of all your fur babies and each other. Much love from a UK AFOL ❤ x

    From a father of two, who are 2 years apart you can spend all day everyday cleaning or you can make memories with your kids. Make memories with the kids, soon enough the are grown and the house will be clean and you will miss the fun chaos.

    Don’t get sparked! As a mom who had twins plus a 6 yr old, our house was just like yours. We had to clean up when the kids went to bed and have a bit of time to ourselves. They are having fun and they are loved, that’s what is important, not a clean house. That will come. ❤

    DUDE!!!!!! Your day to day life, as you so eloquently monologed at the end has been MY LIFE for the past 7 years! THANK YOU SO MUCH for articulating that and teaching anyone without ever having raised their own kids how demanding, stressful, time consuming and beyond all, SO GRATIFING and REWARDING it is! I thought I had an idea of what it was, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. As told to me, if you find that you don't have enough time to do the same things you did before you had kids because you're now spending time with your kids, then you're doing it right! So many adults with kids never truly nurture them or take the time to be with them. Looking back now, I often wish I could have spend more time with them or to flashback to a certain time of their lives when they were this young or that young.
    Keep up the GREAT work! Have mercy and compassion for your thoughts and actions. We're ALL just making it up as we go.

    Edit: And even if you have a home-based business, separating work and home is important... and the new studio will allow you to do that, even if it adds a commute to your workday.

    Aw man I feel all the things in this video! From the highway rant to the maintaining a clean house with kids. Every time we drive to visit family I complain about passing the same person over and over haha. Also, I agree that heater is going to be more than enough. I play at a big tennis center where there only heat is two of those heaters running down the sidewalls and it’s more than enough

    Don't listen to those kind of comments it will just drain your energy, I agree with Josée it is someone who do not have children or even have the luxery to have a cleaner in the house or just a keyboard warrior.
    I have 2 kids, and my house is the same. The great thing is that sometimes they will be helpful at tidying up with you. My oldest is now 8, and when he was 2, he was helping at filling the dishwasher and was doing a big fuss. If I was trying to do it, he would yell "no me!" So when this happens, you will love it 😂😂

  • @zachary3060

    As others have said, don't let anyone make you feel bad because your house might not be clean in a video -- their reality is not your reality. As someone that has struggled a lot with mental health and faced criticism around things like this, I've learned a lot about how much (or how little) other people's opinions matter.
    With that said, it's been amazing watching you and your family on this new journey. I'm excited for you. I'm also so excited for when your children grow enough to fully realize how amazing and vast your passion for Lego is. If I had a dad that owned an entire studio dedicated to Lego -- WOW. Anyways, always remember what is important. Cheers!

  • @bricks_in_space

    It really is amazing how much you do get done. Your children are growing up so quickly and I'm just a viewer. I feel you with the driving too. I love cruise control. The worst type of drivers are the ones that pass you then slow down but stay in the passing lane and make you brake. Your studio is going to be fantastic. I would generally listen to a professional over a random commenter.

    If the ceiling provides enough of a cap for the heat envelope you may need to bring like a short sleeved top and maybe a hoodie to deal with temp differences. One things for sure, the improvements you've made to the hvac should provide a healthy ROI.

  • @Nphen
    @Nphen 8 месяцев назад

    Heat rises, meaning your loft will get heat from the main area. A ceiling fan for air circulation may help. You can also turn up the thermostat on the furnace in the office area. That will be cheaper than electric space heaters, and it filters & circulates the air. Don't be afraid to turn that thermostat up if the furnace isn't running much. Great to see how your kids & house are. You guys are doing a great job!

    So to all the commenters about the infrared heating. If you all knew anything about it, infrered heating is radient heating. You know what else is radient heating, the sun! So on a sunny day and you go in the shade do you all of a sudden freeze? No. That thing with the furnace will heat everywhere. And the loft will be fine cause the rooms below it are all heated and you are on the same space as the infrered heater.

  • @plipnodragon
    @plipnodragon 8 месяцев назад

    I said this in a previous video, but just add a couple transfer vents, one from each room below to the mazzanine. Keep them closed but open them up when you need a little extra heat up there. It will transfer the trapped heat from the rooms into the mezzanine.

    I think that heater will be PLENTY enough to keep that space warm. It may even (at some point) be beneficial to put some fans to circulate the hot air upstairs back down and kind of mix it up. I feel like the upstairs will probably get quite hot when the lego area down at the bottom is comfortable. But you'll figure all of that out once you get the heat going, easy fixes if need be! The issue with the car displaying the wrong date is actually an issue with the MS OS used in some older Honda’s. It was dubbed the “Y2K22 bug”. Essentially it stores the date in 32-bit integer format and the current date is too large to store. So, it’ll always reset back to some default date ever time the car starts. Mine's done it too since 2022. Afaik no fix for cars, but it’s nothing to worry about outside of being a minor inconvenience.
