Was it hard going around and not knowing much Korean? Was it difficult to order from restaurants and buy stuff from shops etc

At least for Seoul and Busan, I didn't have a hard time at all :) My Korean is very limited but I was able to get around just fine. I do recommend downloading Papago which is a translating app. It really comes in handy when you need help communicating something!
