Menurut gw bukan concern pada kualitas pemain lokal. Tapi ini bisa diperbaiki dengan menyelaraskan strategi dan taktik. Dan gaya permainan kemaren kemaren memang ga cocok untuk prosper. Its too hard tho.

Setuju si timnas basket kita kurang maksimalin adanya mr.prosper dengan mainin dia di posisi yang bukan gayanya dia banget, lebih disuruh pick dan agak keluar padahal kekuatannya dia didalem paint area, tapi kita malah lebih banyak main diluar dengan tembakan-tembakan 3 atau medium range yang kurang bagus. The other media, keep mentioning about “size doesn’t matter” and then blame Lester for only scoring 2 pts and 1 reb on the game against Jordan without even understanding what’s actually it takes to win games. Basketball is on the court, not on the paper. Gotta reming them this.
idk, perhaps because "that media" related to "biggest highschool tournament" so they try to build positivity to all young players that not tall, so they can stay competitive. but yea, they're delusional for keep saying "size doesn't matter" in context of international tournament.

@@andreaswijaya89ify we are talking about playing as a team. You may have one small with outstanding skill but what if your whole team aren’t above average neither skill and size? IT can be playing really well because they had team with size to cover IT. If you watch carefully how Brad Steven never let IT to play defense near the rim. They find way to prevent the mismatch. While most of our national’s team players are lack of size.
IMO, ga masalah sih itu pendapat media sebelah juga soal "size doesn't matter". Mungkin buat motivasi anak muda/pemain lokal biar pemikiran buat bermain basket ga melulu soal size hehe. lalu kenapa pas lester 'main jelek' dikritik, ya dia punya kelebihan yang ga pemain lokal punya tapi ko cuma 'segitu aja'. Indonesia should learn from the 2016 cavs, they would constantly feed love in the post early in the game just to get him on rythm, they should realize some guys are rythm players who needed touches to actually get it going

you are correct Lester, when Indonesia naturalized a foreign player. The people will expect you to be Superman. Now the ball is on the coach, give Lester a chance and make a play more inside around Uncle Les and see how it plays out. It is not going to be easy since today modern basketball its more outside play and lot of rain 3's but lets challenge and respect Lester opinion as a player. Yeah, he talk honestly. The real situation in indo team. Thats what i ever said, indo need more support ( fund, facilities etc ), and dont give too much hype to local players ( media things ), but keep push them harder.

Very great conversation, PLAYERS NEED TO BE VOCAL ABOUT THEIR SITUATION IN THE TEAM, Lester is setting an example to the team ever since he was called up. I really agree that the coach is not maximizing the players potential, theyre all to fixated to the coach’s playbook (I see this as a problem too with the young national team struggling to put up points and racking up Turnovers). Just a thought if we had a different coach rather than coach Toro/Milos, maybe for future options NSH’s coach right now can really maximize potential to the national team, David Singleton too is one option he did great with underdogs Jogja last year and Bandung this year, or maybe try looking to local options PJ’s Coach last year brings great energy to the team + really fast-paced and smart basketball, or West Bandits’ coach Eboss, dude is a baller. Hopefully the team get the method right on building this team, if an Overseas Star Veteran says the team should play more 5 on 5, do more sparring in the states, then they should rather than basic drills or local sparring.

yea it's hard to rely on one player only. we're not south korea, that can complement Rattclife with great spacing, great 3pt, taller lineup. i think our national players must play at brandon/abraham level for the bare minimum to be competitive.

@@truthstands5847 no one saying they're on europe level. but among all other indonesian players, both of them standout and gave their best each game. the young players just have to see both of them as their "minimum" standard in order to be able to contribute in asia-level competition; of course the expectation is for them to exceed bram and wato level in the future.

1. Mau sesulit apapun situasi di lapangan lo (semua pemain) ga boleh nunjukin body language seperti itu, karena akan menurunkan mental tim;
2. Situasi sulit di lapangan itu dirasakan sama 1 tim, tapi 11 pemain lainnya tidak menunjukkan bad body language.. it's only him!

sy berpikir andai timnas Indo skrg dipegang Coach Ito..tentu timnas skrg ga babak belur spt skrg yg suka pakai small man 3org plus tempatkan jawato yg 190cman di posisi 4..
Gue selalu pasang ekspektasi yg tidak terlalu tinggi pada timnas bola ataupun basket, jadi gue gak terlalu kecewa ketika mereka gagal. Selama mereka kasih yg terbaik, main dengan sungguh2 enough for me. Mereka yg hate comment itu sama sekali gak sampai level profesional skillnya. Bahkan level kabupaten pun bukan yg terbaik. Siapa tahu ada pemain timnas yg baca ini ya, give your best, kami tahu main basket gak mudah 💪🏻🙏🏻✌🏻

At that moment I really thought something was wrong, you look difficult and indeed you are the focus of the paint area. Im concerned about criticism. Indeed should be criticized but can not be blamed on one thing. Honestly in my mind I have a different opinion towards the media and comments in general. But it's only in my mind. The next day my friend asked me about your last game and i just replied "imagine you are prosper :) " and i'm a little worried this will damage his motivation in defending the national team. Dari sebelum qualifier 2 game terakhir sebenernya agak bingung ini timnas kok tiba2 berangkat dengan minim practice, ternyata butuh extra sync antara player memang dan adanya big man seperti lester seharusnya kemarin bisa jadi target man dengan post-up effective point dengan operan dari teamatenya agar ga bolak balik jadi capek.
