Two great lures for Bank fishing Spinnerbaits and Senkos

- In this you tube, it's springtime in central Mission. The dogwoods are blooming , turkeys are gobbling and the bass are spawning! The water is dark and I can't see the beds and I'm bank fishing. I'm using 2 rods and lures as I bank fish this 10 acre lake. I'm using a Spinnerbait and a 5" senko and fully explain how I work both lures. Tune in and watch some excellent action!

Roland has been my favorite bass man for 50 years. I don't believe any pro has won more top tournaments than he has. His youthful spirit and boyish excitement has served him well and kept him young and agile for his years.

This is my favorite way to fish. I use spinners and slug-gos though. The neighborhood ponds around us and in our hood have 5 pounders in em. Instead of a boat I got a lifted golf cart with off road tires and fishing rod holders. Ha.

I'm 76, and instead of running, I use a Kawasaki Ninja 400 KRT edition sport/racing motorcycle. It gives me the "social distancing" I'm supposed to follow ; )

I watch most of Rolands videos. The most underrated aspect is his casting accuracy. He makes hitting a target look effortless from the boat or bank no matter the lure or setup. #goals
Dude, tell me about it. I’m horrible. Been fishing for decades and I’ll still toss a lure into the reeds. Lost a damn jig yesterday. The only one I had with me, I rarely get to fish them, most spots I fish have mucky bottoms. Damn thing was slaying the bass, then I Chuck it two feet into the reeds and get it hung up.

I started using senkos last year and have never caught so many bass in my life. Yesterday i caught a 5 pounder in central wisconsin. Thank you for all the tips and tricks over the years.

I appreciate Roland working through the 'hazards' of fishing of a pond; having to navigate the tree limbs on and off bank, as well as tryna keep his balance on those sometimes steep and muddy banks. Thanks for showing the 'real world' challenges of fishing a pond.

Mr. Martin, thank you for the bank fishing videos. Since I been watching your videos, my bass from the bank catch rate went from 0 a day to 4 to 6 a day when I go. And honestly all I use is the 297 and I'm a believer.

Started watching your bank fishing videos recently. Went out yesterday for two hour with a black and red flake senko, caught six bass. By far the best day I have had in a long while. Thanks for the tips.
I've had a few real good days after watching and listening to Roland the evening before and trying out techniques he taught me. I think before watching these videos it was mostly try and fail. I had no plan. Now, at least there's a little more structure and a bit more learning and practicing.
I'm sixty five and been watching you since I was a boy of fifteen. that's fifty years. I have learned a lot from you over the years. granddad got me a subscription to B.A.S.S. Masters magazine around 71 or so. when ever you tried out a new worm or crank bait I was out the next day mowing lawns for a few bucks to buy the next best thing for basin. does my heart good to see ya still kicken .

a 6 power 5'6" pistol grip is my absolute favorite for brushy bank fishing!

Roland Martin and Bill Dance are my fishing heros. I was watching them when I was a teenager. Very classy guys. Not like some of the bums you see in other youtube videos who keep saying F this and F that. Keep up the good work Roland and Bill.
I bought my first baitcaster this year. I was starting to think about whether I wanted to transition from mono to braid or flurocarbon, but Roland's fishing 20 pound mono and killing it. Maybe I'll stick with mono for a while. It's less expensive, and I don't have to tie leaders like with braid.

I've become a better bass angler thanks to your videos, Roland! 5" Green pumpkin is the best, but I've also been catching a ton on an old pack of "Game Over" translucent light purple w/ blue flecks. Unfortunatly, the company went out of business years ago, and I'm almost out of them, but and I can't find that color same anymore!
