Gotta say I still prefer the EcoBoost in the 4WD Wonder on paper. Still, hope the Merc does well!
Press pause please. MB has changed their 4x4 system to AWD which drastically changes its bad road capabilities. Doesn’t matter if you always drive on pavement, but on ice, snow, muddy roads, it can make the difference between needing a $4,000 tow to not needing a tow.
@@Erin-Thor I drove a camaro in big snow got stuck a few times but made it home. You can't teach people how to drive even if AWD
@@infringinator - Watch a few videos of the new MB AWD system in use. Wheels don’t engage until 5-10 seconds of slippage, then when the other wheels repeat the process. Then watch a limited slip which takes a fraction of a second. While what you say is correct, the 4x4 system matters too. For me, old school locking diffs are best.

Will be interesting to see a 4 cylinder do the work of the previous 6 cylinder. It's still under powered compared to the Transit Ecoboost in the Wonder. Will also need to watch reliability on such a new engine.

I have the 2023 3500xd with the 2.0ho diesel, the engine is amazing, 50000 trouble free miles and at 68mph I averaged 26.5mpg.
All this automatic stuff scares me. When it works, great, but we all know things go haywire. Then what? I wonder what I could use the other 8 cupholders for 😆 - snacks? Love LTV’s but just wish they weren’t so expensive!

The updated chassis has the same towing capacity as previous generation.

Hmmmm, some trade offs here. I don’t believe you can get the 4 point stabilizer jacks on the Wander and I don’t believe you can get the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on the Unity. Getting very close to making my decision, both are amazing! This may end up being a coin flip.

As much as I like the Mercedes-Benz cargo vans and their diesel engines personally, I would not go for a four-cylinder diesel any diesel six-cylinder yes. But why am I talking? I’ll have to wait to win the lottery in order to buy the Mercedes-Benz motorhome. Nice vehicle tho
