I can't wait for SimWorks Studios to update their RV line with this new G3X. It's a night and day difference in usability.
Same here, I can't wait for those third party aircraft to receive these updates! The BlackWing from ORBX is also an interesting one here!
Very happy to see that those kinds of things have been updated! I tried flying the Ini A320neo yesterday but it made my whole PC crash while on approach into La Palma, pissed me off.
I really agree with you on the fact that those units have been designed to be as easy to use as possible and that, if they're not simulated properly we won't have the same thing.

Can't wait until the GTN 750 updates so it will work better with the G3X. The G3X requires an external navigator to do procedure landings, etc. But what an update!
Is there any addon aircraft at the moment that has both, the G3X and the GTN750 installed?

I have a G3X coupled with both a GTN750 and a GNX375 (2nd waas gps and Ads-B for flying in USA) for IFR flying on my real world Piper Cherookee. Glad to see the G3X coming to MSFS. Great video thanks !

Nice G3X and airports. I have both payware, but for Germany there are hundreds of well done freewares airports too! Stunning. Will try them with the VL3.
Indeed, lots of awesome airports to explore available in Germany, many even in top payware like qualtiy. The amount of excellent freeware airports in this simulator is just amazing!
@@A330Driver It's really something and a lot better than it used to be in the FS2004/FSX days. Not that they didn't have a lot of freeware back then, I just feel the rift between it and the payware was much bigger! Glad to see the whole FS space improving with time.
@@A330Driver I live and fly gliders in south Switzerland. It is stunning that by now only a small airport is missing for Switzerland and all in high quality, even freeware. Same for Austria, Slovenia, Norge, Danemark, Sweden, Finland and many other nations. Not to mention UK. Of my home airport (LSZL) there are two payware version and a poor free one. All the nearby airport are there, some by MSFS for free (Lugano, Sondrio and Calcinate del Pesce). Stunning. I can replicate every flight made with my fellow GA friends and also my flights with a Discus glider ( I am 67 and almost retired).

I was hoping they included the King Air 350 with the upgraded G3X avionics, but no! It seems that Asobo have diched the 350 completely😕
I am rather happy they decided not to put a G3X in the Kind Air, but I agree that it certainly needs some attentions. Perhaps in one last round of avionics updates before FS24 comes?

Still carnt get past LJLJ on the Northern Adriatic bush flight, with out XBSX going in to hover heat power down. Ok every where else just not the Adriatic.
Have you posted a support request? What did they reply?
@@A330Driver ticket just gets closed and nothing happens (raised multiple since that WU was released). Have removed and reinstalled updates/sim itself - no change.
Have also posted on forum and there’s others have same issue. Posts get closed saying to report through ticket…
Or “clearly a H/W issue. Get PC you Consol peasant!” - it’s not H/W as never any other occurrences…
I got excited at first thinking that the G3X was essentially a touch version of a G1000 but that was quickly dashed :(
Think of it as a VFR version of it:)
As Jannik says, think of it as a VFR tool. And quite a good one if you ask me!
@@A330Driver Yeah but how awesome would a touch G1000 or G3000 be? As a VR user without a lot of on desk hardware, the 750 is still the primo easiest for me to use in all airplanes but it does have a much smaller screen. A touch G1000/3000 would be HEAVEN :) I agree though for VFR this certainly looks nice and up to the task.

Upgrading the avionics makes all the aircraft carrying said avionics like new aircraft. So no need to make a new one.
