    Thanks Emi for showcasing come VFR, this is great to have a pause of IRF flying! it would be great if you can continue to show more ideas for this kind of flying! :-)

      While I'd love to do that I do notice that the interest of my audience on VFR flights is significantly less than those for airliners. I'd rather post what the audience really prefers to see and only occasionally drop in some "other stuff".

    When adding Performance to Simbrief Navigraph should have many performance values for Aircraft. I hope that at some point you will be able to select aircraft profiles in Navigraph, where it will show you the range, fuel required, time to a waypoint etc like for example SkyDemon does.

    HI Emi. I've flown a G1000 and G1000nxi equipped Diamond and yes, you can change the map orientation in the map options. However, you can't rotate it the way you did in the Navigraph map. I'm not aware of any Garmin glass panel that allows you to do that. You can only use the Range knob to scroll around the map. Love this new Navigraph feature!

    Pilotage and dead reckoning just got better. You can navigate by GPS or ground based radios while flying under VFR

    Great video! The new update makes VFR flying so much more convenient. It was awesome to see you showcasing it on our usual $100 Lunch route from EDMB to EDNL. After a long day of glider flying at EDMB, my friends and I often head there with the DR400 or C172. The restaurant in Leutkirch is fantastic, and I highly recommend you fly there someday if you get the chance! 😊
    Cheers! Melvin

    The Terminator feature’s name comes from the true scientific word for the point on a surface where day transitions to night, which is called the “terminator.”

    Hello! I've been learning multi crew stuff for shared cockpit but I'm a bit confused especially at preflight about the tasks of the PM and the PF. Could you please make a video about their work during different phases of the flight? I love your channel and the way you share your knowledge about aviation!

    Just saying I'm from Saulgau, so really close to the Area showed. Could you fly to Saulgau at some point? There's a great Freeware scenery done by a friend of mine and it's quite an interessting airport because the runway is only about 400m long. How about taking the next Local Legend (the Skyvan) there? They land here once a year for an event so it should be no problem. If you have any questions regarding normal operations I can help you out.

    Thanks for the great content again. A stupid question from a real VFR pilot: Is it allowed in Germany to proceed to a direct circuit integration without checking the ATIS or the windsocks going to a vertical of the airfield? Can you please do some tutorial how to do a fast ILS procedure if you get vectored very fast directly to the FAF with the 737. I mean speed management etc...

    When navigraph announced the trees on the map, I didnt see much value in it, but I suppose it could be helpful.

      It certainly can! Forests in many parts of the world are the largest features on the terrain so navigating my them can help determining your position easily as I’ve shown in this video.

    Hello Emanuel you have mentioned that some folks noticed that the 777 engine blades look weird and the team is fixing it but I’ve noticed in the GE90 115b the big white shell of the engine near the nozzle it gets smaller compared to the cowling right, although it’s done with the pmdg777 it’s still looks odd and not thin enough can you mention that to Robert because he’s not answering me I’ve compared many images and I’m 100% sure there is an issue with the modeling. Also mentioning that is was done correctly with the p3d model but not in msfs !! Thanks very much and I’d appreciate it if u tell Robert

Danke danke!

    is this a payware EDNL airport ? mine looks somehow different.
    in VR i cannot see the desktop navigraph app unfortunately. so i am dependent on addition of that feature to the in-game app.

      ITs probably the one from the Bavarian Airport Pack. However I have to say I wouldn't recommend that pack

    I don't have a navigraph subscription yet, because I don't fly too often and I've been using Little Nav Map and Chartfox, which have been OK, but this is making Navigraph seem rather tempting. Do you know if there's a way to get the Navigraph map to show on an external tablet (e.g. iPad) where it can both track my flight position and also let me manipulate the map around using touch like, say Google Maps would? That would really be a game changer for VFR as you wouldn't have to have the map app get in the way of your cockpit view, and it would be a much higher resolution.

    • @rvnx
      @rvnx 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, Navigraph has apps for both Android and iOS/iPadOS. In order to track your flight you will have to install Navigraph Simlink on your PC. It'll show your position across every possible Navigraph Charts interface.

    Are you using the Ingame app or the downloaded one for desktop?

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  7 месяцев назад

      I must prefer the iPad version, but for the video I used the desktop one. Not a big fan of the ingame app to be honest, I get too many CTDs when it's opening.

    How do you manage to have the navigraph and msfs window open at the same time ? Because when I play msfs and I open navigraph it will disapear behind the msfs when I click on the msfs.

      The previous two answers give you very good inputs on how to do it on your computer already.
      Of course as a content creator I simply have the possibilities to overlay these things in the videoeditor. That way you also don't see my recording program when I start and stop recordings or my taskbar, etc.
