Watched so many videos of yours before heading out to Nice. Thank you both for all the amazing recommendations for Nice and the Blue Coast. It made our planning so much easier. This is a informative and helpful resource that was invaluable ❤
I did a day trip to a few of the location mentioned by you. I find that Canne's beach and coastal scenery remind me of Malibu beach in the US. I personally think Villefranche Sur Me should be included in this list. It's stunning!😅
Thank you great info. It was great that we watched this before coming. We are here in Nice now. Eza was great. Going to Italy to check out Vetamiglia (sp) Thanks again
Thank you for recommending St Paul de Vence! It was my favourite village. I watched so many of your videos for our trip and we got great recomendations. We hadd dinner at a Thai place called Sabai Sabai and it was delicious and in a lovely spot.
Alles Gute zum neuen Jahr! Bonne Année! Happy New Year! I wish you a fantastic year ahead, dear ladies 💫😃. Super video. Great places. I bet you can't wait for the warmer sunshine. What't the av.temperature end of Feb and March? Merci 🌞
Danke - merci - thank you!!! 😍 Same to you! Coming back from our winter break in Germany, it does feel nice and warm already, even though this week is pretty gray... End of Feb and March can still vary a lot, but during the day when it's sunny (it mostly is, but there can also be a very rainy week) you can sit in the sun and take your jacket off. Nights do get pretty cool still, though. 😊
Hello madam. When I visit Nice, I stay in Nice, go to Cannes and come back to Nice. Then to all the nearby areas. At night, I come back to Nice. What is your opinion on this subject, should I stay in each city separately? Thank you for the video. You are wonderful.
@@fadelbmw5698 it’s totally fine to return to Nice every night, saves you the hassle of packing and unpacking all the time. But you could maybe pick 2 places to stay: Nice to do everything to the east, and then Cannes or Antibes to visit places from there and get to experience the vibes of on of these places more in detail. Both is fine - depends on your preferences! 😊
Hi, yes in March the water is pretty cold. Some locals swim in the sea year-round - not us! I would say: June - October is the best time for a dip if you are a sensitive soul 😉. But you can give it a try in March if you’re courageous!
Great recommendations! Going to Nice in roughly 2 weeks, so excited! Do you recommend driving to Èze and St-Paul-De-Vence? How easy/difficult is it to find parking? Thank you!
Hey, thanks! End of May/beginning of June should still be fine parking wise. It may take a little bit of circling to find a spot, but generally they are prepared to welcome the „masses“. So going by car is probably easier. Depending on where you’re staying exactly and where the specific buses take off, you can also consider going by bus. (Check the moovit app, for example, tuned to Côte d’Azur, that’s our source for bus lines etc)
Just wondering WHEN you were in EZE please, as I was there in early December and nothing was open, not even a cafe! I’m hoping to go back in January, so wonder if it will be the same again then please? Cheers from Australia
Hi, I think it was February last year that we filmed in Eze village. And you’re right: between November and January many places (hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, galleries…) close for a few weeks or even months (happens a lot in the touristy villages on the French Riviera, not so much in the cities, apart from beach locations). Not sure you would be more lucky in January than in December, to be honest. When we were there, not everything was open…
@@rivierago No worries, understandable I guess! Hopefully maybe one cafe might be open this time. Actually it’s great for photo opportunities as less people makes for better pictures! I’m going to explore Menton this time too! Cheers
This is a great video! I’m planning my trip to Nice next month and this has helped a lot. Is the village of Vence worth visiting if I do it as a day trip with St. Paul de Venice?? I know there is a bus that runs between the two! Thank you!
Thank you, you are the best. I travelled across the Riviera last summer and going to come back this June. Could you advise how to get to Eze village from Nice? Many thanks.
Thank you! You can go by car, they have a brand new public parking garage… or by bus. There seem to be lines 82 and 602 from Nice (departure: Place Garibaldi, ticket: lignesdazur.com). But we have to admit we never tried the bus to get to Eze!
That’s really up to what you prefer. If you like to get cozy in one place, do that: it’s easy to do day trips from Nice to discover many other places. If you’d like to spend some evenings at another city, then we’d suggest getting a place to stay there since public transport (trains between cities) is bad after 10 PM.
Hi, which are the hotels u recommend for aolo traveller located central and close to train and bus station for doing day trip? All the hotels in your other video are sold out (10 oct to 15 Oct)
You mean solo traveller? There’s a new hostel, Slo Hostel Nice, for budget travellers. Other than that we‘d have to google as well if the ones presented are fully booked…
Traumhafte Videos ! Alles sehr gut erklärt . Die besten Reiseführer seid ihr!

You're right about Villefranche-sur-Mer! Absolutely worth seeing! Can be added to the day trip to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat 😄

GRASSE, the Perfume Capital, is One Hour by lovely train ride and will give you a step back to the 1700s. And you'll find your next favorite scent ❤
Yes, Grasse is definitely worth seeing as well, number 6 for sure 😉! We have (another) video about it in the pipeline

Nice video. How long is the walk up to the Monaco Palace?
Hey, from down at the port it’s maybe 10 minutes on foot, it’s not far, just some “climbing” involved

@@ivanchelsea2110 yes, maybe so…We’re just so used to driving down here that to us it’s really no big deal 😇

You can also take a short train ride over into Ventimiglia, Italy.
