These intro narrations are great. You're a poet, dude. Liked the coloration of the intro too. Really brought out the reflections in the water on the trail (0:10). 14 hours of driving a heavy truck on 35" MT's getting 12-15mpg(?). That gas bill... Now we know why you eat ramen. Thanks for putting in the effort for these videos. I won't follow all your footsteps, but I'll use your videos to follow some.
Thanks so much for all the kind words. It’s people like you that really motivate me to keep filming. I do enjoy making these videos and glad you liked the color on the intro. I’m constantly changing things up and trying new things. & Haha love your comment on the ramen. Thanks for the laugh and thanks for watching. 👊🏻
I couldn’t agree more with you about camping and exploring in the winter. Nobody is out and it’s just so special. You should check out a -30 or even -40 degree sleeping bag, it’s a game changer in the cold. You won’t even need the heater. Your Chanel is a huge inspiration to me. Check out the 4 peaks video I just made. Most of my ideas were from your channel
Thanks for watching. I will check out the video.
Yes, that must be a long drive but beautiful scenery I would do two days you’re a brave soul for one day. Love it.
This weekend I did two nights. My previous video was part of this trip. Thanks so much for watching Edgar.
Man ! Salute to you for driving 7hrs and spending only a night to make a content for us ! 🙌🫡🫡
Thanks for watching
Another unreal video. The views are unbelievable. Makes me wish I could build my truck in search of the same.
Thanks for watching
looks like a fun trip ! Have to invest in proper winter clothing though. Cotton and Denim have no place in the outdoors. Diesel heaters only make up for poor choice in layers outdoor clothing. Get some good merino wool base layers and synthetic or down outer layers and a good shell jacket as well as some good insulated and waterproof boots and you'll never get cold again and you can ditch the diesel heater all together. 🙏
Thanks for watching
When we going camping?
beautiful scenery and impressive solo filming
Thanks for watching
Another great one. You’re gonna get to 20k subs fasho! Thanks for the good content
Trent thanks so much! 😎🙏🏼
Thanks for watching
Bummer the heater shutdown on you. The night shots were super cool, the lights on the Taco look great! Thank you for being appreciative of the support everyone is showing you and the channel. Take care.
Hey, thanks for watching!
Amazing brother keep up the good work you do Toyota baby!🤙🏾
Thanks for watching
Are your camper batteries lithium? If so they need to be in an insulated compartment otherwise they will malfunction in the cold quite often, anything under freezing. Cold and Li are not friends. I also recommend a 0 degree bag and simple electric blanket, I've used this combo for years in winter with no issues
They’re supposed to be self heating also😎 thanks for the recommendation! Thanks for watching.
Leavitt is my favorite place to go!
Awesome spot , wanna go back!
This makes me miss the Eastern Sierra...love exploring that area.
Same here! I want to go back now!
Been there. Beautiful spot. Keep up the videos. Thank you
Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏼
With how much winter driving you do have you considered a 3 peak AT tire? Would give you more traction in the snow and ice. Quieter on the road, better mpgs etc. Sure during the dry seasons the ATs would get you through most everything just fine.
I’ll have to look into it. Our winters are short here in California. We do mostly have dry seasons. These mud terrains do great on dry and rocky trails.
Thanks for watching 😎👊🏻
Johnny Taco "ramen" Outdoors
Thanks for watching 🍲
Great video!! Ramen. Grill some steak with those noodles!! Haha
Good idea….Lately I haven’t been doing much cooking with it being cold😎 thanks for watching
Great video bruther wish i could’ve joined you on that one!
Thanks for the invite
That’s a sweet lake and great view! But how did you get there with sonora pass closed off?
Sunday and I am eating Ramen, while watching Jonny Taco eat Ramen at an epic camp spot! 🇨🇦🤙🏾
Get outta here! This is the first I’ve heard this. Glad I could inspire you to eat ramen. 😎👊🏻
I just want to say your videos are getting better and better. So what's up with that diesel heater not working in the real cold weather? Can it be the lithium batteries powering it? I hear they don't do well in extreme cold, don't really know if that's true....Let us know, as I'm very curious.
Thanks so much I really appreciate that. I love putting these videos together …Yeah totally the cold weather. The diesel heater has been working fine as of recently and so have the lithium batteries. 😎
Sitting here watching the Super Bowl game here in Seaside, Oregon but now I have something better to watch, Jonny Taco Outdoors… thanks Jonny!🌲✌🏻 go 49ers! xplrnw
Hope you enjoy
@@jonnytacooutdoors it was a good adventure, Jonny. 🌲🔥💯💯
@@XPLRNW sure was, thanks again for tuning in.
Awesome bro, look forward to it. I haven’t seen much of you lately. Happy to see you’re back. 🔥🆙
I’ve been posting every Sunday. Catch up on the videos.😎👊🏻
Again as always, the intro is epic, content out of this world drone footage. Drone footage the best of the best you tubbers. Fire in the snow so nice. Your rig while you driving in the night lights is as daylight. Jonny thanks again for great episode cheers take care
Thanks for the kind words! Thanks for watching. 👊🏻
Great video!!!
Hey James thanks so much, I post videos every Sunday at 6pm.
Suggestion? I'd ditch the jeans for a pair of Duluth Trading Fire Hose pant. Especially for winter camping. They also make a pair that is lined with fleece-ultra warm. I found that jeans were ok for winter camping in Death Valley until I tried the FireHose pant. Its really dense material is super warm even in cold wind. After moving to Idaho, I learned jeans work indoors or between May and September. The first time I ran the dogs outside of town, the wind just cut through my jeans. I thought I was gonna die! Lol! Im jealous-I never made it up to Leavitt before I left. Looks like an awesome trip!
I’m going to check those out. I do need to get something waterproof for the snow. I do wear thermals underneath my jeans. Was an awesome trip Idaho looks awesome also.👊🏻
Another great edit with great storytelling. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you. Keep it up and keep the adventures coming!
Thanks Rachel 👊🏻 thanks for watching
Last time I was there it was raining, so cool to see that beautiful lake in the snow! Wish I could have gone with you!
Definitely is on the top of my list! Next time I go you’re coming with. 😎👊🏻
Amazing videos man! Keep up the work, makes Sunday’s more exited now
Wow thanks so much! More videos are coming. Thanks for watching. 😎👊🏻
We should be in baja this time year...can leave diesel heater at home
Thanks for watching
Did you adjust the air fuel ratio on the diesel heater for the high elevation of (9200')? The heater is probably full of soot and needs to be cleaned out.
I camper Batteries were the problem.
Enjoyed this Johnny. I'm itching to get out there soon.
On the deisel heater. Did you adjust it for your altitude? It depends on what controller you have on yours, but you make the adjustment via that. Love mine.
Thanks 👍🎂
About the altitude adjustment I need to look into that. I haven’t had any issues as of late. I’m assuming it was just the cold and my lithium batteries didn’t like the cold. Thanks so much for watching.
Awesome scenery! Another nice video! Did you access the lake through highway 108? I thought that highways was closed in the winter ? Really want to go there
Hey thanks so much and thanks for watching. Yes I’m positive it is closed in winter I probably got up there before they closed the gate.
Thanks! What dates were you up there?
another great video with a very beautiful place, i enjoy the video a lot👍🤙👌❤
Thanks for coming back to watch another video!
As always great video, epic spot to camp.. it sucks that your diesel heater failed.. do you think it was the elevation? I’m in the market for a diesel heater but I have seen too many people having issues with them.. Thanks for sharing
The issue was with my batteries not the diesel heater. I have a website now go check it out. Thanks so much for coming back to watch another video. You are greatly appreciated.
Awesome video Hermano.
Thanks for watching
Where is that fire starting torch from?
You can find it on my website. JonnyTacoOutdoors.com link in the description
The count will probably be delayed until the game is over, or people sober up tomorrow.
Hey Curt you’re probably right. Hope you enjoyed another videos. Have a good week.🎉
Too much driving for one night.
Stay safe👊🏻
Oh I did two nights 😎👊🏻
