    I have been watching you for a week and I am full of admiration for your knowledge of exhaust gas control systems and mechanics. You save people a lot of expenses that would be incurred in workshops that only replace parts, counting that they will eliminate the depleted part.

    These flaming DPF diesels are some bother, well done for working through the problems. Hope the owner appreciates the trouble you have gone to and the money you saved him.

    Glad to see you replaced the oil separator seals. I replaced mine and got a funny code (can't remember which.) Ran a smoke test and it was leaking air like crazy where the new oil separator mates with the block. Ordered new seals, did the job again, and that fixed the leaks. Great job on this one.

      I have a pair of long nose needle nose pliers. They came out easily using those.

    You did your customer proud there Jimmy, but it's outrageous what some of the main dealers think are acceptable working practices. They need to be reported to the manufacturers / importers and have their franchise put under probation because it makes the whole brand look bad. I realise that they are not all like this, but those flash multi-million pound dealerships with the latest workshops all needs paying for. Some of these people seem to think that they are doing you a favour by just selling you the car in the first place.

    I really wonder if the dealership does the repair do they replace all the parts listed on the quote or aware of the issue with the separator and replace only that and then invoice the 12 grand...

    Good work mate 👍 that RR has been neglected which doesn't help with the reliability issues LR have, service overdue, low on Adblue, low on fuel and the use of French car parts doesn't help either 🤣🤣

    I'm learning a lot from you brother.. Thanks for all this effort and sharing!!! Can you do a video on cleaning the DEF spray nozzle?.. Tutorial request.. Cheers mate... Oh, Which code reader is that.. I live in remote Alaska and purchased a 2016 Range Rover sport TD6..Running wonderfully but this Exhaust fluid dosing error is kicking our butts.. Ordered a new sensor but the Icarsoft LV doesn't seem to have a dose metering function on it to test the nozzle on demand.. Anyway. Thanks again

    Hi There. Has any of your client / customers, gone back to a garage that they paid for a repair. That didn't work?. Until they engaged your services. Who "correctly" diagnosed. Supplied and fitted the correct parts and got the vehicle running correctly again. I very much think I would. Especially as some have paid extortionate amounts for a failed repairs.
    See you in the next one. 👍👍

  • @ariantaria2065
    @ariantaria2065 2 года назад +1

    Dealers technician are there to sell parts, and labour costs,,they can not diagnose the problem even though they all the service data,,it just shows how incompetent they are,,, I trust more independent garages, mobile mechanic well done you,

    Cleaning MAP od MAF sensors is not recomended with brake cleaner, they have a differebt spray that doesn't damage them.

    Brake cleaner will almost always kill this map sensor, better to use MAF cleaner.
