This bringa back so many memories of when i was younger. My gpa got my brother, cousins and i the mini monster jeep of this kart. I believe we still have it in a barn....makes me want to do some traveling to see 😂
I wanted one of these so bad as a kid my uncle had 2 and sold them for $2500 each like 20 years ago, that might as well have been a million to me then but today I would buy 5 at that price easy lol. It’s be awesome to make a mold of the body and fab some frames and sell them also make the body a little bigger and people would buy those up in a diy kit!!
There is a guy that did so and was reproducing them but I lost his contact forever ago. If you want one to make a mold of I've got one that we have been rebuilding and I could use some help resolving a few problems I had during the rebuild.....
That looks sick man. As i said in the 1st video of this, To get one of those in 1990 would be outa this world. With all the extras you have added and done to it its like 10 timjes better now. As a kid id be trying my hardest to get it stuck to just use the winch on it. Its been a awsom 3videos to watch. Nice work Red Beard.
Standard ebay forward/neutral/reverse gearbox for a 30 series torque converter. Also known as a FNR gearbox or just a reverse gearbox! They run anywhere around $80-$100 on average. Hope this helps.
Can you please help me with a question? I'm putting a 2.165 crank in my 196cc clone. For two reasons, a little more power and a 3/4" shaft. What do I torque the stock rod bolts back to?? Also what cam would you recommend for a stock motor just so I can get rid of that plastic gear and maybe a little more power?? Thanks for the help and all your videos!!

I always drill and tap a hole for the choke arm. Much better than the little piece on a filter adapter that you add.

I would have loved to mold the body while I had it just didn't have enough time. It would be pretty sweet to remake these.
