WOW!!!..This thing is absolutely awesome!!!.. I do not ever rememberer seeing one of these when I was a kid...thanks for sharing such great content with us..-John
I remember these for sale in Kart World Catalog of which you would send away for in the backs of a Popular Mechanics or Science Magazine back in my day! I believe it was literally like $3:50 and weeks of waiting for your Catalog from Kart World? It was a paperback Black & White Catalog that sold everything from complete, ready to run to kits for you to assemble yourself to mini bikes of all sorts and part's galore. My buddy Dave ordered a brand new Dingo with a 8hp briggs from them back then. It was a beastly powerful go-kart! Electric start was even a option which was nice along with a headlight and front spring suspension which was very primitive, but unique for back then. 😊
Awesome! I'm currently redoing a Carter Brothers mini monster truck myself, way worse condition than this one though... Look forward to seeing the rest of the build...
Totally eh. This can help make a man bc of this if he had a trailer and a plow maybe a little tow truck boom. Even for looks. Add round stock on the corners for that extra grip to plow. Can teach so much. We need more cool toys like this and pass everything down. Kids are kids yeah and they like having fun. Let them have fun while doing some work with it i would myself 😂 dead c lol
Where do you get your heim joints from? What size did you use on this one? Where can I find the steering rack at also? I have a mini monster and trying to get the steering done also. Thanks
If you are going to use a differential for the cart, then you should use a drive for each of two drive wheels because driving both rear wheels on a solid axle would make the cart hard to steer.
hi Red Beard! a bit off topic here but i have a symptom going on with a gx390 engine which has a relatively short header and goes straight to one of those yoshimura mufflers you used to sell. it glows red inside and spits flames, do i have a leaky exhaust valve or is the pipe simply just too short? i can see flames inside it at idle and after letting off a small throttle blip. runs fine however and isnt lean jetted. appreciate it!
@@samaxeman123 my comment deleted I said that it’s most likely normal for there to be fire in side your pipe that’s what mine looked like on my 318 tecumseh with a straight pipe
@@Horespower_23 yeah cause if you run no header at all theres always flames visible. my minibike is so small i literally cant have a long pipe on it. the 390 takes all the room lol
It’s probably just the pipe my 318 had that where you could see flames inside it had a nine inch pipe so the issue you’re having might just be normal hope this helps
@@RedBeardsGarage I know right, considering what they are they really shouldn't cost this much. There's a Facebook group for these that I am in, and I just watch these things going for 2k and up. I'd love to own one, but now seeing how they are built, I think I'll just build my own.
sorry.. but i would way rather had that gx390 than a wildcat 223 on that monster truck.. the wildcat might be better on a mini bike, but the torque of the big block gx390 would be far superior on a large go kart or monster truck..
Nice project! you will have to make a raised rack that goes with the trailer hitch. Let the adventures begin!!!
This is awesome 👌 me personally would totally do an old bronco looking theme

Man I remember these things at northern tool back when I was a kid I wanted one bad but never had one they are the coolest go carts
I have not watched it yet but I like the wildcat installment

Yes! Save the classic karts🙏
Great content, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the rest of this build and the 4WD version!!

Dang! That thing is sweet!!!
I thoroughly enjoy watching ALL your videos!! Been subscribed since 2018 and you never cease to amaze me with your talent!! Great video!!
Well thank you for the support brother!
@@RedBeardsGarage My pleasure my friend! Thanks for the many years of quality content!
That is too cool
Great video!
What is the part number for the steering pinion steering box? I need a similar setup on a go cart i am rehabbing. Thanks.
nice
When you gonna finish the diesel cart ???
Which one? The 3 cylinder we took it off the frame and used the frame for a different build. We need to put it back on something soon.
The 3 cylinder kubota ,might try and do something similar with the same engine so I'd like to see what yall do with it first to get some ideas.

It actually steers very well. We have already rode it. If you get the Ackerman angle right it works good.

I could definitely be wrong though😂

Note to self watch the bends on the bender so they don’t get stuck
Hey, Red, what was the Steering unit you used? and linkage?
Will it be easy to put that 999cc Duromaxx Engine on a Minibike
No. You would probably have to build a custom frame.

Do you know if anyone makes front hubs like those on it? I'm looking to run bigger/wider wheels on mine but I need offset.
So expensive to find one
These puppies sell for 4-10k. It’s crazy what they go for.

How long has the religious stuff been inserted into his videos? I don't remember it on the early stuff, but I havent been here in a while.
