Frida is a big time environmentalist and has been for decades. I think Benny and Bjorn were giving a nod to her with this song. If you want one of her punchier songs off Voyage try "No Doubt About It". She tears that one up. She was just at the Voyage concert again and watched with fans. Then she spent a lot of time with the people there signing and talking. She's a very special lady.
FRIDA is such a big heart and such a big hug too,
I love this sweet little ditty. It is simple and pleasant and as Frida (a noteworthy environmentalist) sings, I can picture everything she is singing about. What is wrong with just sitting back in your favorite easy chair and relaxing to this lovely little song? I also think this is a wonderful song for children. Every once in a while I enjoy these kind of songs to just relax and reflect and why not about the bumblebees. I am a big gardener as well.;-)
You still have missed their big smash SUPER TROUPER despite having done songs from this fab album.'Bumblebee' is a great grower.I love it!.
This is my favorite song from Voyage.
Frida's voice is so sweet and warm,like her personality.
This is such a cute little song, and I love the words. Can make you tear up a bit if you're in that kind of mood, which I am.
The message of the song is what I took away as important. Yes it's not a hot dancing number, more like a Grandmother singing a lullaby to Children. But the more I listen to the song, the more it grows on you. Frida at 75 years old did a wonderful job and the backing vocals with Agnetha never Disappoint.

in my humble opinion it is the weakest song on the album, it's still correct and acceptable, 6pts

A pretty anemic response to a lovely song, sung beautifully.
This grew on me so beautifully.Now i can't imagine VOYAGE album without this one and No Doubt About it right after.Also ODE TO FREEDOM is the best closer.

@@rdwulf6289 I remember FRIDA's BBC radio interview (Nov,'21 in Zoe Ball) first time after ages!Fans were sending messages on how beatiful she sang to this one and Frida commented back smth like 'i sing this with my heart'!It was her her first official interview at a time that we fans were eagerly 'queing' for a 'glimpse' of both ladies Agnetha and Frida.to hear/see smth.I'm not ashamed to say that by the end of it i got so emotional i couldn't help getting my eyes wet.Esp on the way she answered to that question on 'how do you wanna be remembered by the people'(Agnetha did an interview in Swedish radio same way btw)

I like the message of the song, it's more important than the melody in my opinion. What if these humble bees suddenly vanished because of us humans not protecting mother earth? Can u imagine the world 50 years from now? More devastating cyclones, hotter temperatures, famine, etc. Just the thought of it make me afraid for my children and grandchildren.
