Thank you Corene! 6 yrs later I'm going to make this album. Your a great instructor. I wish I had found you when I was first learning. I messed up so many albums that I gave up because I didn't understand or see the full concept or understand the instructions. I have a learning disability, but if I can visually see how something is made, then I understand how to make it. Something as small as measuring paper is A Huge obstacle for me, but if someone shows me, and is patient, I can do it. Your a Wonderful instuctor, very patient and calm. Your visual taping of this video was fantastic for me. I'm a seasoned crafter now. I kept at it and do well. So 6 yrs later, I'm going to make a few of your albums. I wanted to say THANK YOU! I'm 65 as of last week and I can make beautiful things now, because of women like YOU, and I'm not ashamed anymore. 🌹🌹🌹 Blessings, Tori
Happy birthday!! You’re very welcome! I’m so glad it’s easy to understand! They are so addictive to make! Have fun with it! And you should never be ashamed! Great job for sticking with it!! Thanks for taking the time to watch & leave a sweet comment! Have a great weekend!! Corene
Thank you so much for completely finishing this beautiful album. So many tutorials only show how to make the album and not how to decorate the pages. This is very helpful, so thank you again.
I have been watching SO MANY mini album tutorials trying to learn how to create my own album for my grandmother. I am so grateful I found your channel! You make it seem actually achievable. Thank you !!
Thank you so much! It is achievable!!! The more you make, the easier they become & the more you learn! I know your grandmother will cherish it! I made one for my grandmother & she said she wanted to be buried with it lol! She loved not just the album, but what it meant behind it, the effort I took to make it! Have fun! Corene
Got a library book for scrapbooking and there is an interesting tip about folding cardstock both ways to find the grain, if you fold with the grain of the cardstock you get a much cleaner neater fold, very cool idea
Corene, you are a marvelous teacher. Your preparation and organization is amazing. When I make mini a mini album, I spend week's making it and huge mess in my craft room..... I'm in awe of you. Would love to see a tour of your craft room. Thank you again 😊
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! I love the album and the calm way in which you present the tutorial. No fussing on how you feel or how your brain is rusted or making excuses for how your desk looks etc etc etc etc! Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Thanks for keeping this up. I love to watch how people make their albums to see if there is something new to learn from previous years video tutorials. If you ever come back and read the comments, in case you don't know, Gorilla Glue glue sticks take 45 seconds before they dry... you may not need such a strong glue gun glue for these, but if you don't know already, you could probably use Gorilla Glue sticks that say 45 seconds for dry time and then have enough time to adhere the pockets and get that hot glue into the corners so you don't have to use both. This is the first time, I've seen a glue gun used in creating these, so I'm really glad you still have the tutorial available for those who do a search to learn more, or see how other people create their albums and maybe different swing out pages or pockets, or I might see a die that is no longer available and then try to find it at a discount store or Etsy or eBay...
oh, WOW! I love this. I've got 2 of those paper pads & have a problem with using my prettiest papers bit this will be worth it. gonna make one for my mom & fill it with family photos & write some journal entries on why she's such a great mom. thank you for such a beautiful and wonderfully detailed tutorial
Just viewed your tutorial and this album is by far the prettist one I've seen. I love how you don't over embellish the pages but let the pretty paper shine on their own. Very informative tutorial and full of tips for beginners. Great job ☺
Lots of work has gone into the creation of this album! I so enjoyed watching your process and listening to your informative narrative. It's been nice to spend my afternoon reviewing techniques and learning a couple of new ones that I'll use in future projects. A note to a few of your viewers...taking brand new Tyvek envelopes from the US Post Office for a purpose other than mailing is stealing. Needlessly increasing USPS overhead is a contributing factor leading toward postal increases. Tyvek envelopes can easily be purchased at both office supply stores and on the Internet. Thanks for taking the time to make this video...much appreciated!
I have to say that this is the most concise and instructive video I have seen on youtube. Thank you so much for sharing your generous thoughts with us.
Hi Corene I'd just like to say I have sat and watched this video many times over the last week since coming across it. It's such a beautiful album and very easy step by step guide. So I printed off the instructions and began making my first ever album for my new grand baby I've completed the outer album now to do the inside and pages. Thank you for being a inspiration for me to work on one myself I've been looking for classes to start building albums and not found any. Coming across this video has been a blessing because all my family will now receive something handmade and special to remember me by lol .. Thank you so much for sharing ... Anne x From UK ...
Absolutely Amazing!! Thank you for explaining everything in such detail! I am excited to try this! I wanted to find something unique to make for my grandmothers 95th birthday, and she is 1700 miles away, and this will make the perfect gift filled with pictures of her great grandkids! Again, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a comprehensive way!! I love your creativity!!
I am so glad I found you. I wanted to make some personalised gifts for friends & family members and thought of making albums & scrapbooks. I have watched other videos that I've liked and learned from however, yours hit the mark just right. You cover everything, explain it beautifully and make everything look achievable. I love the little tips you give. They are extremely useful to the beginners. One of the most important thing for me is you use A4 size paper. That is the only size I can source in various colours and of good quality @ a good price. So you see you pass my Goldilock test :p All the above babbling in nutshell means Thank You :)
What an awesome job you have done! You are a great instructor. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to teach others such as myself how to do this. I have watched many tutorials lately on how to make albums, and I found your tutorials to be some of the best. You have a pleasant speaking voice and you stay on task. You seem to really want the viewer to learn without being so concerned about making money for yourself. Thanks once again. I look forward to watching more of your work.
Hi Corene!! Thank you so much for doing this tutorial!! I learned a lot today from watching this and will be adding to my favorites to try at a later date!! As I have said before, I love watching your process videos as you take the time to explain what you are doing and also give options. I am finding that I am gaining more confidence in wanting to give this a try (I have never done one before as I always found them beautiful but intimidating). Thanks again.....so glad I found your channel!! Hugs, Liz:)
O my goodness I've just watched your tutorial on this mini album and I'm in awe, have seen mini album tutorials before but not from start to finish. I just loved it. I am new to crafting and wood love to give this a try but hopeless on measurement so wondered if it was possible to buy these albums made up and then I could decorate them. I know lazy, but when I am better at crafting I would then have a go at making it from scratch, and with your tutorial it should b much easier. Thank you for sharing it with us you are a brilliant artist. Martina xx
+corenescreations hi Corene I would luv to purchase some if you do put some up on etsy . You went into so much detail to show everyone how you do this as I said it was beautiful and you are brilliant artist. Xx Martina
I don't generally watch many craft videos but I am glad I saw yours. You are very gifted and the album is beautiful. I might try to make one after seeing this tutorial. Thanks for posting this.
Really nice tutorial. Although long you didn’t explain everything we’re seeing, like some YTbers... Gave us a smooth and pleasant craft to watch. Congratulations.
Hi Corene, I made this album last year, just looking at your tutorial. Thanks a lot for your tips and step by step indications. Your different projects are amazing, huges from Bogotá, Colombia
I love watching your videos. You describe everything so well. I just want to mention instead of Tyvek on the spine and hinges, I use mesh drywall tape you can buy at any hardware store. It is made out of some kind of plasticky stuff. You can not tear it. It is also self adhesive so there is no gluing necessary It is about 2 inches in width, I love using it and it will make your hinges last forever and a day! Again I love your videos!.
Wow! This is a great tutorial. I find it so easy to follow your instructions. I was looking for something new and you again provided me with a new idea. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and inspiring me to try new things. I am going to use this for a Disney Princess mini.
I really love how your triple flip mini album turned out. I'm so glad you didn't over decorate the outside and kept the inside simple. Pictures should not compete with all the ornamentions. Pictures should be seen and be the center of attention first, then the album. Well that's my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your tutorial. I picked up many great tips along the way. I can hardly wait to make one. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for a thorough yet very easy to follow book..I found you so easy to follow with your calm easy going voice I will definitely use again..
Thank you so much for doing this tutorial, So many of your projects are so beautiful but without complete instruction I have been reluctant to try, Everyone does there albums different, It is so important to do the tutorial the way it was put together by the person who made it. I am going to make this one. It's beautiful and what a fun project. Again thanks so much!
Wonderful Tutorial!!! Enjoyed this very much. You are very good at what you do and it shows! You are much easier to follow and learn from! THANK YOU !!!!
I have this paper pack, I just got it last weekend. I really love this book and will definitely be making it. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. God bless
Hi Corene, thanks for sharing such a valuable information. Really appreciate the way you explained each and every detail about mini album. Lots of love and hug
Thank you for this detailed tutorial. It answered so many questions. Beautiful work. Starting my first album, and although chipboard came already bound, this helped a lot. next time maybe I will be brave enough to start from scratch. so appreciate the packets info as I wanted to add a lot since only 5 pages. Going to add some full page pockets to increase contents and I like how you made the pull-out have a decorative edge that shows. I am definitely using that. I also now know how much needs to be folded under and miter ing the corners. Thanks again. Was so good, I subscribed.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I loved your album using the Nit Wit collection Authentic paper. I even purchased the paper and now I can make an album YYAAAYYYY!!
Your work is so neat and you gave amazing tips! I fell in love with this mini album and you gave such great step by step instructions! Definitely going to try to make one! Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Hi Corene. Another substitute for Tyvek that I have used is the reusable bags from Lulu Lemon (or something similar) just cut it to size and it works really well. Thanks for the great tutorial!

I was surprised you didn't have to move one of the side hinges off center on one side to make the pages flip together easily. I guess if there's not much bulk this works fine. Anyway...I'm going to try to make this same album on a 10 x 10 scale. Cross your fingers I don't mess it up!

corenescreations Aww...You are so very welcome...😊👍🏻
Loved your video. It was really easy for me to follow. I did want to verify if you were using 1/4" tape on your hinges or 3/8"? I just wasn't sure. I too like the look of no flaps on the hinges. I was surprised you didn't have to move one of the side hinges off center on one side to make the pages flip together easily. I guess if there's not much bulk this works fine. Anyway...I'm going to try to make this same album on a 10 x 10 scale. Cross your fingers I don't mess it up!
Wow!!! I'm hooked!!
you are a great teacher, keep it up! ☺☺☺☺
