Great video, Margaret. The use of a mailing envelope is a fabulous idea! Not only are you repurposing a highly disposable item...but those things are STRONG, too!! Genius!
Hi Margaret I have just found your channel & I have just noticed it has taken me over 2 years to find it lolI love your video, you explain everything so well as you go along, I am now going over to watch your Tyvek hidden hinge video before I watch the rest of this series. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your creations with us. Elaine :-)
You are very thorough in your directions of this album. Tutorial very easy to follow. Now on to the pages. I covered everything in craft paper and will go back and add the pattern paper later when I decide what I want this album to be. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Making my first Mini Album and was looking for a good tutorial on how to cover it and hide the edge of the chipboard. This video was bang on! Thank you so much. :)
No I went back in and took the paper off, can't talk and chew gum at the same time sometimes. I don't know of anything else to use in place of the Tyvek, it can be purchased at an office supply store in large envelope form.
Can you possibly list the materials you use so I could write them down and purchase them? This is a lovely tutorial and I'm really excited to make my first scrapbook! Definitely going to your videos for help (:
Best Video I have seen yet! I have watched a lot of videos and this one is the only one I have seen yet to really explain it well :D Thank you! Can't wait to try this out! Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Sorry for being alittle short but we get some real goofballs on here, like one person told me she did not like the sound of my voice. I think the sound was my fan and I didn't notice it until I was editing the video and by then it was too late. No worries. :)
Love your tutorials!! Have a question in the video between 8:30-9:20 when you're applying the adhesive to the spine, did you intentionally leave the backing on the score tape? Would you suggest anything else for the (sp?!) tie back?
Awesome tutorial, could you please give meall the measurements ?I'm from Brazil, here we use cm and sometimes is preatty hard thinking in inches. Thanks so much! Responder
Bonjour, je viens de découvrir votre vidéo je débute dans le scrap pouvez vous me communique les dimensions votre album est superbe je vous félicite . Jocelyne je suis en FRANCE
She is talking about Tyvek. Mailing envelopes are made of this. It's light weight, very flexible and almost impossible to tear. Using this on your binding saves the album from tearing apart after a lot of use.
Thank you so much for this video, most video's try but they do not show enough details. We are not all experienced in making these, GOOD JOB and I will look for your videos in the future. BUT you know you could use a bigger working area, don't you think?
TFS this tutorial it has helped me out a lot, and as far as the stupid question goes, it was that I heard a noise that sounded like chewing gum, I hope that I didn't upset you as I like watching you. I am sorry. hugs tink
