I was recently in Jamaica and to tell you de truth from my observation me blame de ppl dem because all the gullies in de area full up a ppl rubbish suh when rain comes everything overflow, fe ppl dem must learn to get rid of their rubbish responsibly because local mps not going to do anything

That was a lack of planning from many years ago. But you could never get Jamaican Politicians to get Water Engineers. I was always trying to tell those who were in charge of the area I lived in. This is still a very easy fix.

We have so many water inflatable floating products, 3layer vinyl floats, and a variety of pool floating products, every community in Jamaica that has issues with flooding, should at least have these products available to help people get through flooded areas, here in America there’s a lot of those things. For rescuing people, even blow beds can be used, this is beyond ridiculous, these MP’s lack vision and innovations. These people don’t have to suffer like that. Too bad 😞 😮
They were told to evacuate and refused. If they didn't want to leave they should have had their own boats, beds floating devices.

All this water settling all over the place is going to breed mosquitoes
So walk by boss, basically the problem can be solved before another hurricane come , nuh true. something can be done to alieviate the problem. why is this not suggested to the works department. just get it done people.
I live in Canada rent a room in a nice residential area all middle class and I have seen the roads pave cost thousands of dollars that looks like high ways which was a waste of money they never needs no pavings but these people pays thousands in taxes for these maintenance and the big beautiful clean parks which looks like a gym for children than a park and residents trim there trees the branches came down in the road from these people and block the drains infront of their gates with the tree limbs they trim and these people look and see when the rains fall how the water settle in the roads and they would not clear their fallen limbs from the drains. Is when a heavy rain came the water can't go down in the drains before their gate that their limbs blocks and the water coming in their drive way they clear them
