"Go ahead and call, they already came out twice. All you need is hot water and a fire extinguisher." This statement said so much. She is literally proud of herself for beating child neglect charges that she obviously should have got.
But she didn't say something. She recorded the video while the other shoppers intervened and called the police. Then she posted the video of everything without blurring the face of the child. Walmart is full of morons in charge that have little more than a GED, and a few night classes in business counting as college credits. None of their decisions ever make sense. My dad worked there as a meat guy. Management tried to put their work on him and constantly threaten to fire him for not getting the workload done. As he says, it's too big to fail..
What Walmart did was kind of bogus, but their policy clearly is in place to protect employees from getting attacked by customers who don't want to be filmed. If she would have just called the police she wouldn't have been fired. I don't agree but it is what it is.
We all have a human obligation to report abuse when we encounter it. Good for that employee. What misguided, confused, unethical management wrote an employee policy that punishes staff for being a decent human being?

I think if she didn't film her though , the case wouldn't have that big of an effect as it has now! So kudos to the employee. She did the right thing in my eyes....!
Has nothing to do with her doing the right thing. The employee filmed an incident while she was on the clock. That's why she was fired not because they protected the child. It's important to know the difference. Lawsuit will fail, Walmart has a code of conduct. Not saying it's right.

The woman who bought the clothes and put them on the child is a saint. As is the employee. Both could have chosen to mind their business but they didn't, and that was the morally right choice. For Walmart to fire the employee shows where their priorities lie.
🙄y'all clearly don't know the law or how businesses are obligated to operate. Walmart can be sued for the employee harassing the woman. And the employee violated privacy rights to record strictly to harass and shame. 🪑🤦♀️
Or not. 3 years ago we had a freeze and I was fired from my job and I couldn’t allow my kids to go to school because they didn’t have winter coats because I had to choose between electric and clothes. If I allowed my kids to go to school I would have been arrested too. I’m not a bad mom, I was poor mom. I had to borrow money from my poorer mother to afford coats from the goodwill. Luckily, I have a new job now but we’re all mostly one paycheck away from being in the same position as the woman in this video. Calling the cops on her and taunting her while she’s trying to do the best she can should result in a firing. For most of us, one day we will all have to choose between clothes and food
That code of conduct is meant to protect the customers and the company from unwanted harrassment, which the company could be sued for since it was done by one of their employees. Contacting authorities or management would have been the better option to simply videoing the woman and making insults to her while following her.
They don't appreciate any of their employees they are just slaves to them. Took away any benefits while making billions a year. I'm hoping someday they will get their just desserts for their greed
I actually fear for the child’s safety once the mother gets out of jail.. she will probably blame the kid instead of recognizing her own ratchet behavior
Cannot believe Walmart fired this woman. Disgusting and disappointing. Shame on Walmart. To the lady who stood up for this innocent child, good for you and thank you for doing the right thing.
Felicia Darling, the elderly man as well as the woman who provided the clothing are very appreciated in how they advocated and cared for the baby that was being physically abused. Walmart should at least pay her a severance pay and change their store policy to allow employees to film customers who are clearly engaged in criminal activities and to publicly post such videos of the crime. If their is no federal or state statue that prevents any employee from video recording and publishing a crime within or on store property then Felicia Darling may have a legal case against Walmart. 😮
Well this is what I am wondering.. cause it states "fired for sharing video" so had she just called the cops and never shared the video would she had been fired? Wasn't fired for calling the cops. So does walmart have a "no filming and sharing videos from work?" I get it I see videos from there all the time. My point in why was she fired. So stupid. We live in a world where see a crime? Do nothing.

The problem is that she recorded the video and then proceeded to post it on her social media for all to see for viral attention. She didn't simply record it for evidence purposes and showed authorities. That baby is only blurred in the news report, not the video she posted. How do you think that child/abuse victim will feel knowing as he grows up and as he hits his teens knowing he was plastered on social media for cheap likes during a traumatic event in his life? That's the problem here.
"Ignore an abused child?" Calling the authorities, putting clothes on the baby, and recording for police all good! When she posted all this on social media, she and the store became an instant liability. It's as simple as that!
They don't report people stealing, walmart just shuts the stores down when it becomes too much rather than point to the crime that caused it. Walmart is trash.
NO she got fired for filming instead of acting. In situations like this she should have notified her manager not filmed it. It's also an invasion of privacy filming it due to the paper you sign when you work for the corporation. It's one thing to film an altercation you have with someone to what this former employee did. To be honest she did this so she could be commended as a hero when she wasn't. She didn't act she filmed and lectured. The woman who got clothing was more the hero and true to helping the child. This video will actually scar the child further down the road when people recognize his mother and point it out what his own mother did to him.

She should have just shared the video with CPS and the police. There was no need to post it online for all to see.

The community saved that baby that night. The man who spoke up, the lady who bought him clothes. The employee who filmed it all. Well done.
No corporation is worth ignoring that. F%$# Walmart.
CPS is worse
👍👍
I work for Walmart... 2 years now! We as normal associates are NOT allowed to get involved in anything that happens! Fighting, Stealing, ANYTHING! you are to do your job & thats it! Only Asset Protection, Coaches, Team Leads are allowed to interfere! She got fired for filming... which was more then enough for her to no long be needed by company.
@@---zq1cz your very evil if you would just sit by and let that baby be naked in weather like that.
@@obrecht3038 I agree. Some things are worth getting fired over.
As a Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandmother, I am Speechless! Why ?
Great job to all who stood up and said something to help this child. This is heartbreaking 💔 To the person who filmed it- GREAT JOB! You deserve a better place to work than Walmart. I pray great things for you!
What an upside down society we live in when you cant stand up for children who are being abused. Once again, the person doing the right thing got punished.
It is just crazy. W T F.
Like Biden stated, "They're our children."
It's an upside down world when people that would be great parents don't get that chance and when people that shouldn't be parents become parents.
Biden's America
@@js1112111this has nothing to do with Biden, it’s the “mother” who is responsible and at fault here. It’s not about politics it’s about her being a trashy person who doesn’t care about her child.
WOW! This is how she treats her baby in public…imagine what it’s like at home.
Socialize the losses privatize the profits
Exactly
I cannot imagine 💔❤️🩹
Hurts me just thinking about it. 😢
She twerked her answer so that's all you need to know about this creature. L.
Precious Part 2
Fired for what protecting a child? Let's all go to Target before Walmart now.
She helped this child.. she deserves a medal, and a much better employer!!!!
The lady who bought the outfit for the child, and dressed him in it, made me cry. What a sweet lady. 😢
Signs need to go up everywhere, "See Something, Say Something".. do whatever to stop abuse from anything that is helpless and vulnerable!

Damn, it struck something in me too 😢
If she's doing this in a Walmart imagine what happens at home? This is neglect.
So sad... I just asked how is the child doing?
🩵💙
I’m hip
She was probably on drugs poor little boy
😮shame on you walmart.
That woman should be given a raise!
Im not surprised anymore when an employee gets fired for doing the right thing. Companies care about profit, not the actual people.
I guess the Walmart “code of conduct” is to ignore an abused child and say nothing. This lady saved this child’s life! God bless her and the person that purchased an outfit for the freezing baby. This is absolutely horrific!
It was a lady that purchased an outfit for the little guy.
They abuse there employees and the people who make the products for the store it’s not surprising
"Ignore an abused child?"
Calling the authorities, putting clothes on the baby, and recording for police all good!
When she posted all this on social media, she and the store became an instant liability.
It's as simple as that!
You can look at her and see she is not all there.
She got fired for speaking up of child abuse but she is supposed to report people stealing?
Exactly. Make it make sense. Disgusting
Well said!
They don't report people stealing, walmart just shuts the stores down when it becomes too much rather than point to the crime that caused it. Walmart is trash.
Because it's all about the money...😢
NO she got fired for filming instead of acting. In situations like this she should have notified her manager not filmed it. It's also an invasion of privacy filming it due to the paper you sign when you work for the corporation. It's one thing to film an altercation you have with someone to what this former employee did. To be honest she did this so she could be commended as a hero when she wasn't. She didn't act she filmed and lectured. The woman who got clothing was more the hero and true to helping the child. This video will actually scar the child further down the road when people recognize his mother and point it out what his own mother did to him.
Bless that lady that worked at Walmart!!! Thats so horrible for Walmart to not protect their workers and stand by them. So sad but so awesome that this lady felt compelled to help!!! She saved his life!!! Because she said that other ppl called CPS on her 2 times already so i hope now they continue to check on this beautiful boy!! ❤
This just brings tears to my eyes. That poor baby. I hope he is safe. That Walmart employee and two other patrons are angels.
I'm sorry you lost your job, but you are a hero and an angel for looking after that baby. God bless her!
Legally Walmart had to fire her child exploitation because she was on the clock recording this incident of a half naked child while showing his face to upload it to her social media for attention to go viral. This is why they fired her on grounds of code of conduct.
If she was GENUINELY,,A HERO ..she would NOT HAVE EXPOSED THE VIDEO ON WORLD WIDE INTERNET ..and the expect a GO FUND ME ..the TRUE ANGELS were the person who called police , the lady who dressed the child and the man watching over him ..
Look at all the general public who shop @ walmart: half of 'em FOOLS. Fired from job: you're too good to work for Socialist Wal Mart! God Bless, from TX
I am sorry that she lost her job too. She is a good person and please don't ever work for another Walmart. Their managers are not trained properly.
@@jennifergongora9727You are wrong. She videoed it to have proof of the mothers abuse. She did the right thing for that child. If she did a go fund me that is because she just lost her job!!!! And that is ok, she deserved to be helped until she could get another job. That mother did not care about her child. Any mother that would not dress her child appropriately for such cold weather deserves to have their child taken away from her. By her twerking like she did anyone could tell she is not a good person. She cares nothing about that child. I hope she gets sent to jail for a very long time!!
If she hadn’t filmed there wouldn’t be any evidence of this mother’s abuse and neglect. Shame on Walmart as usual.
There was plenty of evidence as the store cameras caught everything, this lady didn't even call the cops or buy the kid clothes that was done by the others in the video ...... all she did was pull her phone out harrass someone, hell she never even gave the video to the cops this was pulled offline after going Viral but you heard she was arrested that night so no need to even post. You kids and your camera phones
Store cameras are everywhere.
The shame was in filming and posting. She wasn't help she was getting credit for a good deed. Im glad they fired her. Walmart and the police I commend. This is the same as taking video of a shooting and doing nothing.
I severely reduced my shopping at Walmart after the 2020 election when their CS agent made a derisive comment about Trump supporters. I think I'm less than five visits since then.
Let me just tell you, if i could find a stupid phone without a camera, i would buy it in a heartbeat!
She didn't follow the Walmart code of conduct? What kind of garbage code of conduct do they have?
Walmart rehire that brave courageous woman and give her a raise! Somebody has got to do the right thing sometimes.
That lady who bought that boy some clothes is also a hero with a big heart. I hope she gets paid back in kindness tenfold. ❤️
Amen ❤
Only ten?
More likely that Walmart will press charges on her
She will sell those clothes on Ebay for meth.
Can you imagine seeing a baby in just pampers.on a bitter cold day.?
Fired for doing the right thing?? And we wonder why society has gone down the drain!! Disgusting!
We are living in a day and age where evil is defended and rewarded while TRUE virtue is condemned and punished. And it stretches from the very highest positions of power all the way down to the lowest gutters.
Well she didn't actually call the police, she kept telling others to do it because she wouldn't stop filming. And then after that horrible woman had already been arrested, she posted the video on social media which went against company policy and wasn't neccessary at this point.
Unbelievable! I can not believe that Walmart was stupid enough to fire one of their employees for doing the right thing. If I was this person I would sue Walmart for wrongful termination and STUPIDITY.
Thank you for posting on social media. We need to expose the truth. Otherwise no one will do anything.
Absolutely vile of Walmart to fire a woman for possibly saving a child’s life. They should be giving her a raise. One of the most unethical companies on earth.
More vile is the 10,000 attorneys that would leap at the opportunity to sue Walmart on behalf of the child abuser. The BAR and the ABA should be disbanded.
@SugarMountainBricks, let's hope the fired employee is hired by a company that cares more than Wamart.
Yes they are, and people are starting to get absolutely tired of these big corporations sticking their nose into politics, social issues, and then turning around pulling low-life garbage like this. They should have made her employee of the month at the least!
I'm not going to Walmart EVER again
I was adopted my real mom was claimed to of been abusive since she had all her kids taken away ran away with me and then I got taken from her the truth is she was young had mental illness and didn’t have all the money it’s not abuse it’s not enough This world is bullshit sometimes when y’all talk shit on a mother for doing all she can for a kid!
