I have always had great times with Sikhs. I just respect them. A Sikh used to be my neighbor in my old apartment. I found him very intimidating and strong from his built. He was one hell of a guy. Though he appeared very powerful, he was one of the sweetest guys, I have ever met. He was such a gentle soul and such a sweet guy. We still have a great equation, after all this time, of me moving out. Sikhs are the best, and a blessing to this Indian society.

As someone who grew up in a military family (Indian navy to be precise), I can't help but shake my head at ignorant comments like these who have no idea how the defence forces work but decide which regiment is the "bravest" or the "best" or the most "superior" anyway.

For a minute there I thought they were talking about Indian army and wondered....wtf are they talking about!!! Then saw that it was about US military😁 Sikhs have always been the most important part of Indian Defense services. Sikhs are not just warriors, they are the kindest, big-hearted people in the world. You just have to observe any rescue operations, Sikhs will be the first ones to be there to serve the people in need.

Sikh regiment of Indian Army have the honour of recieving highest number of gallantry awards by any regiment and gorkha regiment along with Grenadiers have received most no. of highest gallantry awards.....this means that genes do have there role 😃

I'm not a Sikh but I really adore this community. In India no matter what happens they are the one's on whom you can totally rely on... They are so so HUMAN & helpful, infact their community teaches to help others. In Indian Army they are the highest contributor...I can just image how hard it must have been for him to cut his hair... Its a big thing & we shud respect that.

I respect Sikh people be if they are in military or not ... As common Sikh people are also people of values and even common civilian Sikhs always come forward in protecting innocent ... They too are common people like us but they have a heart of gold and their selfless acts towards humanity ... I find it in my heart so deep respect and love for Sikh people ... I am a Hindu and whenever I went to gurdwara they always give Prasad and food to all people ... They don't differenciate people on the basis of their religion ... They marry outside if their caste also they are most humanistic religious people on Earth ... Some really cute and golden hearted people on this Earth ... We don't deserve their selfless love but they still love all people selflessly ... I just wanted to say that I am so thankful to all the Sikh People on this Earth.... you have a strong bodies with kindest hearts .. you are true warriors in my eyes ... He is a great man that helped change my life to serve as a Sikh in the US Army. I served with my Turban and beard in the Infantry wasn’t an issue. He’s a true hero, love him.
You must discuss Battle of Chamkor sahib where 40sikhs exhausted with 8months of hunger fatigue in bone chilling winters, fought against 1million army of mughals.in the battlefield two elder sons (age only 14yrs and 16yrs ) of Guru Gobind Singh g were martyrdom.

You see in this critical time of Convid-19 Sikhs try their best to help and feed the nerdy. From India to USA. Most countries praised them for their this act of kindness. Look at their part in WWI and WW2. Where ever they went, they adopt that country's values. Worked hard, put their share in the development of the country. That's why English Historian Maccalif,in his Sikh History book -- If Guru Gobind Singh was born in England, the whole world had become Sikh. Sikh's have bad luck that their Leadership was always on sale. For their own interests the sold the Sikh Nation. Happening from centuries.

As an Indian Gorkha, I say U.S.A is doing itself a great disservice by marginalising and discriminating against the Sikhs. As an Indian Gorkha again, A SIKH soldier is an epitome of bravery, loyalty, Kindness, they practice what they preach, you cannot find a finer protector for your country. India and Indian as blessed that we have Sikh here. Sikh and Gorkha regiments in India get along very well, and you don`t want both of them charging over the hill at you lol (*hint*hint @China) "its Game Over Man Game Over."
