Thanks for the detailed info. I level mine very similar but with two bubble levels got from my Wheeler scope ring lapping kit. That inclinometer is pretty awesome and I'm sure I'll be looking at getting one myself. I have an old Lyman gun vice where I can lock down the rifle in a level position and then when mounting the scope I find where I want the eye relief position and then level it to the rifle. That ring pull is tricky and it is literally a balancing act to get correct, but once you do it pretty much stays in line from then on. I just posted a video of a new scope I mounted on one of my rifles. I used some low Weaver six screw rings on that one.
