THE DOORS fans at LUPO'S where in for a treat. Before there was THE DOORS. RAY MANZAREK and brother RICK where in a band called RICK AND THE RAVENS. It was nice to have a part of doors history there. We got to see RICK MANZAREK in action durring MAGGIE MCGILL.
When he wasn't playing guitar he and others durring the show would grab a stick and play one of the drummers cymbals.They had other hand instruments they picked up from time to time. When he wasn't doing anything he was hanging on stage with a beer. Same with RAY. It looked like they where having a party on stage. I like that.

I LOVE this "reformation" that's going on with them. It would be so much better if Jim could've been there, but this is simply amazing.

I was at this show. I was standing downstairs in front of the stage. It felt like I was seeing something very special. Jim was real - frozen in time as he was in 1970. And of course Ray and Robbie were the real deal. Very cool.
