Agreed
Facts
1920: “in 2020 we will have flying cars
2020: “always pepper with a purpose”
I read this right as he said it. How interesting
I used to do this with my friend back then because were not skilled at volleyball and we dont know the rules and we also dont have enough players. Never knew it was actually a drill.
Love it..im a mother of 3 and i love volleyball since then until now ..wanna try this with my kids when i get back home to philippines😘
Hello sir ! Awesome job !
Love from INDIA.
Same here! Our country really needs to do better in the sport...
Hello
Love from the Philippines
Coach Donny I just wanna say thank you for all the videos you made because without them i would be so bad at volleyball and tomorrow me and my friends are gonna go play volleyball after like 2 or 3 months of not playing so this video is great since its a warmup so thank you.
I used to drive my hand foward without too much of a turn in the wrist which gave the ball great Power, but unfortunately made me miss wide from the back row time and time again. Now that i ve mimiked your wrist motion over months, i can just snap the ball from a straight arm und spin it in from almost everywhere! Thanks donny!
Watching them pepper is a thing of beauty. They spike it so consistently and perfectly pass it
I play libero but my favourite warmup drill is serving. Receiving a good server really psychs me up and prepares me for the game.
Thanks for this video! A bit relieved to see that I've mostly been peppering effectively for all these years. Almost got alliteration overload at the start, though: pepper how you play, pepper with purpose, pepper properly... :)
Thank you sir for this video , it means a lot to me ❤
Watching these old videos tell me that Kai is a real one
Vďaka Vám sa mi veľmi darí vo volejbale a naučila som sa veľa nových vecí a konečne viem dobre podávať ďakujem za to že sú ľudia ako vy ktorý dôkazu učiť ❤️
Oldie but goodie
I didn't know that the drill was called pepper. my friends and i would call it "spike-receive" lmao
@@ElevateYourselfOfficial true. in canada we call it maple syrup
In the philippines we call it paminta
@@carljoshuaramos7711 😂 lmao paminta talaga
I love your videos. They are so good. Thank you for taking the time to make them.
one day I will become the best volleyball player in the world
and these videos help me get there!
We'll meet on the big stage then
The reply here is honestly so wholesome.
I'll be waiting to see you on the court!
Love your determination!! See you there :)
same, we will get there one day . good luck !
Would it be possible to have the playlist sorted in order of what should be learnt first. As it is, the last video is the oldest, and from there it goes reverse using
chronological order, and some sets are separated or named a bit oddly.
Thank you for making these videos.
Hey Donny
My armswing is similar to how the japanese players hit (round swing instead of the usual bow and arrow) but i struggle with consistent jump height is there a drill or exercise I should be focusing on?
love your videos btw
plyometrics
Got it.. so when do i add salt
Congrats on 300k
@@ElevateYourselfOfficial While your hear you think you can do a video on the blocking fundamentals
Thank you sir
Might be a silly question but do you use an outdoor volleyball for outside like this? Or is it better to use the normal indoor volleyballs to get used to it?
I know it's been a while so this is probably useless but just use any ball you like that you're fine with landing on the ground. It can be indoor if that's what you want to train with
Hey! Recently I got into an accident and had my finger amputated. however the doctors managed to sew it back on. and i am currently recovering. I have no idea how long the process will take, but i'm hoping to be able to return to play my last year of high school volleyball the upcoming school year. Do you have any tips on how to return to playing volleyball after a serious injury?
its Yoda's Jokbal not yours Yes! Thank You. I should be able to get back into volleyball in a month or two. I will definitely try to ease my way into it :)
pepper or pre par
Hi coach
What does freezing mean?
Thanks! This helped me a lot!
My jump is too low they say that i am big can you suggest what im gonna do pls
Peppering with purpose is the fastest way to get better 10000%
Master pls tell me what is your height? My height is 5'6 is this enough for playing volleyball? pls help me.
Height is an advantage in volleyball, not a requirement. And just because you're not too tall doesn't mean you should settle as a Libero or a Setter. Go for whatever position you want! Sure, you may have to try harder but it'll all pay off! Hope it's going well, good luck :)
Your subtitle are Ovelapping on the Topic headlines, so next time Edit correctly Bro. Otherwise u r always be my Inspiration❤️
..... are you talking about the auto generated RUclips captions, because he didn’t put any captions in there. Lmao

Can u do a tutorial with no partner cuz im the only im the only one in the family who wants to play voleyball
Lmao I feel you. My friends are getting kinda annoyed with me asking them to play with me, none of them ever do it lol. Most solo volleyball practices involve a wall and I don't have one so :/
But why is it called peeper?
Sir I am from Indian I want coaching
great, now all I need is someone who would be will to pepper with me🙃
4th comment, letsss gooo coach donny ftw
The science of motor learning, over 40+ years of study, has shown that learning and skill acquisition are extremely specific to the task. There is ZERO task in pepper that is the same as that in the game. To say that what you do in pepper will transfer to the game is just not correct according to the research. Granted, there may be a small amount of transfer, if we look at it as a continuum, with no transfer on one side and full transfer on the other. Pepper exists pretty close to the no transfer side, as non of the touches on the ball, nor the decisions being made, represent the tasks during play.
Are you stupid? So you dont perform the “tasks” of: Digs, sets or spikes “in game?!”
You got a good point there. Often Pepper is just a waste of time.
(you could work on your armswing ;)
