      Awesome! I’m glad I can be a part of your Volleyball journey and help you become a better player. Don’t be embarrassed about starting volleyball due toHaikyu. I think it’s really a great thing that inspired so many people to try the sport.

      Nothing wrong with starting because haiyku, i started because i fell in love with the sport after my friend introduced me to it but some of the best teammates started because of haikyu

      We are all in the same bag! I started my journey in volleyball by discovering Haikyuu, the first ever anime that i watched fully with 0 idea that voleyball existed before that

    This is amazing that this video is free to watch - I feel like getting to access this high-level knowledge and execution is so valuable, especially coming from a lib who sucks at hand passing flat floaters.

    Great tips on hand passing floaters! How do you deal with hybrid servers? Platform only again or just having quick feet?
    Excellent content keep it up

    Hey coach! Loved both of the videos however my question is when would I prioritize hand passing over platform passing. Seeing how you and Gage position yourself more forward with hand passing, and more backward with platform passing I was wondering when I should be closer and further away from the net! Aka, when should I hand vs platform pass serves?

    i jammed my thumb twice trying to pass overhand on a float serve, so i’m trying to use anything to prevent injury any further.

      Try injury prevention training then, nothing can be better than strengthening your own body.

    Hi! Sorry to ask but do you have any recommendations for volleyball shoes for beginners/intermediates? Because I’ve been trying to find a shoe to play for volleyball but I’m not rlly sure what to look for

    • @Vaskonga
      @Vaskonga 4 месяца назад +1

      First, you don't need something expensive. There are some really expensive Mizuno out there for instance. Just go to a shoe/sport store and try the shoes you like and you can afford and try them. Try them, run a bit with them, do some jumps (ure gonna look weird but that's how you know how they're gonna feel while playing). And then just buy those that u felt comfy with. Btw, idk if u knew but basketball shoes are equally good for volleyball, that's a matter of tastes, so if u find some comfy, affordable basketball shoes, go for them. Finally, you must have in mind the floor of the court you play in, because if the floor is made of a bad material (cement, etc) you don't need ultra-high-quality shoes, but if the floor is good enough, just spend a few more money to get good shoes with good traction. Sorry if the answer is too long! In shoes, everything is about tastes!
