- Apologies for the quality of this video, sometimes a 24 year old tape doesn't exactly look the best! I have finally found a copy of the 1999 VHS for The Little Mermaid online, so that and also Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Lilo and Stitch are hopefully next to be captured this or next month! Released August 4, 1994. Print date: June 1, 1994.

It was also on the UK VHS of Dinosaur

It marked 30 years this week on august 4th 1994-2024
the Walt Disney Home Video logo must be from 1986 to be exact!

I often wondered what that thing was at the end of videos where they have those different coloured stripes and that awful high pitch sound. What exactly was the purpose of it?
They were used for technicians to verify copies of tapes as well as make sure the video and sound were in sync and also to make adjustments if necessary.
I found a VHS of Song Of The South on eBay quite recently!

Hilariously enough, the 2019 live-action version of _Aladdin_ was shot in Australia because its deserts had the perfect feel for the film's Arabian setting.
Mutsor Tima unfortunately that isn’t true, the desert scenes of that film were shot in Jordan around 2017-18.
