Happy Feet has a big connection with Lord of The Rings. Both feature Elijah Wood and Hugo Weaving, both were distributed by subsidiaries of Time Warner (Warner Bros. for Happy Feet and New Line Cinema for Lord of The Rings, respectively), and Happy Feet was co-produced in Australia, and Lord of The Rings was co-produced in New Zealand. Australia and New Zealand are very close to each other. Also, Roadshow Entertainment distributes Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema's films in Australia and New Zealand.

Fun fact: They still use this logo to this day, but you’ll see it if you pay for 3D tickets

Pretty rare to see this DreamWorks logo in DreamWorks movies in 2024. Since DreamWorks mostly focuses on animated kids movies which has the recent present logo… Unless it’s related to Adult drama style movies, I think DreamWorks will still use this logo.

I remember seeing a movie starring Steve Carrell in theaters back in 2018 and when I saw this logo, the original 1997 one, I was shocked as I was thinking “Dreamworks still makes live action movies?” as I thought they started only focusing on animation after 2006.
