Thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials. I'm having a go at paper animation for a first ever animation project and your tutorials have been so helpful!
@@kendynay Well, I did it! 🙈. It’s a first attempt and I learned a lot of lessons along the way. An important one being storyboarding exists for a reason! Your tutorials were so helpful. Here’s a link if you want to see it... ruclips.net/video/v5x_qb4fM38/видео.html
Very cool. I like your character design. I did a paper cut video clip a while back . I wish I had seen your videos before hand. I can really see the potential and benefit of this type of design. Subscribed now.
Thank you for this. I've been planning to do a humorous stop motion with family photos and just adding the expressions but struggled to find good instruction. Love your work.
Thank you Kathleen! I'm glad you found this helpful. I will be adding part two and three to my playlist this week so check back for those tutorials - Happy animating!
Hi Kendra. I really enjoyed watching you draw your characters. It was so relaxing and they are so cute and creative. I've done stop motion animation since about 2016 on the Vine app making short stop motion cooking videos within the app and when the app died, I just kinda stopped doing stop motion. I've recently picked it back up by incorporating some stop motion in my YT channel cooking videos. I've upgraded to the stop motion pro app and spent a lot of time today learning how to animate characters and want to learn as much as I can. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I'm looking forward to watching the next two in this series. All the best!
Thank you so much! I am glad you found it helpful. I hope to make another tutorial soon, but right now I am animating some projection mapped pieces for the Denver Union Station and it is keeping me very busy! Have fun animating.
Hi Jonathan, I like Bristol Paper 100lb (270gsm) I have also used black card stock for silhouette work. 80lb will work if you are careful with the brads or connections. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hello. I know many may not be able to do DragonFrame. However, can you give me your thoughts on DragonFrame (if you have used it) to make a stop motion animation. OMG! I wrote on this chat before I finished watching Faces and Mouths as I just watch you other video that use Stop Motion pro...Disregard this question.. :) Question: what weight of paper are you working on? I looks nice and solid.
I like bristol paper. I believe it is a 100lb paper. It holds an edge well when cutting and is not so thick you can't get detailed. Card stock will also work well. Happy animating!
