You have a couple of options, if you don't mind a lower quality video you can export the footage in a video form. If you want full resolution, you can export each frame as a still image and then edit and combine in a photo/video editing program like Adobe Premiere. I am currently taking a break from the studio, but I will consider doing a tutorial on this subject in September. Thanks for the feedback!
While in the Dragon Frame program, you will see a menu at the top your screen with file, edit, scene, etc. Select the capture drop down, go to capture source and your camera should appear in the list of available cameras. Hope this helps!
Greeting frm Greece. Very good video. I'm doing my masters in animation and I want to use a few seconds clips from your video for my thesis as an example. Your channel and video will be mentioned. Can i have your permission? Thank you very much.
Great question - If you are creating a 3d stop motion animation with puppets, the process would be the similar: you can use eyes, mouths eyebrows that are movable or pre-made face sets out of clay, you can even use paper mouths and eyes and use the replacement method. In the movie Caroline and in other films by Laika, they 3d printed entire face sets for replacement (they even won an Oscar for pioneering this technology). If you are 3d animating using a computer program, The method is a bit different as you will create the forms and move the parts using bone tools, key frames etc. The timeline and X-sheet are still very valuable to line everything up.
Yes, it was used in the industry by Laika to make Coraline, Box Trolls and ParaNorman. Disney also used it to make Frankenweenie. I have used the software on many of my short animations. You can find links to them on my channel. Have a great day!
Sending love and peace from Barbados💜

Kendra do you know how to make taking stills capture faster in dragon frame? It always seems like when I use my camera its slow in capturing stills.
I'm not sure what would be slowing you down. What kind of camera are you using?
👍👍👍
What kind of laptop is that ?
MacBookPro Retina 2015
What did you press to connect to the camera?

Can dragon frame only be downloaded on a laptop
I don't think Dragon Frame has an option for mobile devices like a tablet or phone. But you can download other apps for your phone.

The lip-syncing works great on 2D, how about 3D ?
