Ok I like this video. What does a person with a strong grip/ cupped at the top do on the downswing? Everything on RUclips says bow on the downswing. Is that what you’re supposed to do?
Yeah that’s a good checkpoint to have. Doesn’t need to be pointing straight vertical to the ground but having in that orientation will make it easier to flatten the least wrist. Arm structure affects everything.
In reality you can play good golf with “cupped” wrist. Some players have wrist issues, or weak forearm or more right hand dominate player usually have a more cupped wrist. The fix is your need a stronger grip to offset the same amount of angle of the cupped wrist angle. The more cupped u are at the top of the swing the stronger grip u need.
