I saw them live about 10 years ago in New York, really great show and they're all ridiculously sweet people. I do wish they kept a little more of that rough sound from the early days, but stuff like this is still so damn fun
Holy Shit! One of my favorite, underappreciated bands. Yes, they do Visual Kei, which in this case means girls looking like guys who look like girls. Or something like that. But they are kick-ass virtuouso musicians and do incredibly creative and progressive stuff. And they have actually been around a long time. Thank you Danielle for sponsoring this! Great call.
if you are looking for more death metal with Exist Trace check out "Judea" their first song, they have evolved over the years. as for the unique qualities of the members Jyou(vocals) : she is handsome and mischievous and playful and charming Miko(guital) (girl in dress): she is the leader of the group, she writes most of the songs, she is also the only member with a feminine style Omi(solo guitar): this is our handsome silent prince, she is very shy(off stage), she hardly ever talks, and we die when she ever shows us her smile 😍 Naoko(Bass): is the most unique, she is our Lord Death and consumes our souls Mally(drums): is the most precious bean of all, our beautiful energizer bunny, she is always sooooooo full of energy
Exist Trace always reminded of being the female counterpart of the GazettE (Lookwise and also because they are a Visual Kei Band and approach their Music similar) also their Song Daybreak is definitly worth checking out it was used as a Intro for the Anime Digimon and also the Song Ginger is very good the Guitarist of the Band has amazing Vocals in that Song
Going strong since 2003. I dig practically everything they do. Except the nervous breakdown one which is too painfully real. In 2012, one of their tunes was used as a theme for the Japan Olympics. Lyrics are pretty deep sometimes. This was just about riding your dreams and is a lotta fun. Which is also deep in its own way. Thank you for checking them out. They deserve all the positive attention we can give them.
NAOTO!!! I will always be a loyal Exist Trace fan. Naoto has always stood unique even among performers in Japan. Been a fan of them since 2006.

Are many visual kei bands, you know? But Exist Trace and The Gazette are completely different. ;)
Yeah, Exist Trace! Miko (guitarist) is so beautiful. :) Omi (guitarist) and Mally (drummer) are so handsome!
This is one of their most tame videos and songs.
I definitely recommend " True" from Exist Trace. A little bit of an older song music video, but it's great.
