The art is truly adorable in this quaint love story about a wolf-girl trying to rectify the unintended pain she inflicted upon her little prince. As the course of love rarely flows smoothly in fairytales, I imagine some lesson concerning honesty, inner beauty and nobility, and acceptance will underlie the journey of our protagonists. The wolf mechanic and its, “the moonlight shows us for what we really are” stipulation seems promising and hopefully will have some creative applications as the game progresses. I’m certainly compelled to follow this quirky pair on their travels and see whether the girl can continue to stave off the compulsion to wolf down her companion.
A few things i noticed The blind prince- In rapunzel the prince fell from the tower into ivy and was blinded. the cliff side was also covered in ivy the wolfs singing- the obvious one, the little mermaid, but it seems to be only the singing voice, she can still talk though moonlight- probably a reference to werewolves the witch is an owl inspired form the wolf only smiles when she holds the princes hand. and the prince only smiles when she holds his the thing im worried about, is considering how fairy tales often go, and how inspired by them this game is, if this story will really have a happy ending
This story is basically "Beauty and the Beast" meets "Little Mermaid"; with a touch of "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Wolfman"...I like it! ^^ 19:08 Dude, have you read the original version of "The Little Mermaid"? That shit was already sad. XD
Original Little Mermaid is both amazing and terrifyingly horrible. Like, my girl either, turns into sea foam or joins a bunch of near angels for all eternity in hope that maybe one day she'll see enough nice kids to get into heaven.
This is so incredibly cute. Obviously not your traditional romance, and the whole, 'she blinded him' issue is sure to come up, but I'm already enjoying this.
_The things we do for love_ Another really lovely game. The sweet music & the fairy-tale introduction were beautiful, as is the thought of holding the hand of someone you care about, someone you've hurt even if you didn't mean to. It feel it won't end happily somehow, but it looks to be a nice love story.
Considering their other games, I'm suspecting things will get complicated somehow. Maybe the witch will take the blind prince's love for the liar princess as the cost to return his sight.
Maybe it'll end well if the witch is in a *really* good mood when it comes time to pay up. Or they could kill the witch and hope those crystals can be refunded. Or... frame the witch for the disappearance of the Prince, then let the massed forces of the Kingdom burn her and her section of forest down, then get back their stuff, and hope doing so doesn't void the Princess' spell. But it's made by Nippon Ichi...

I think the price for restoring the Prince's sight will be his hearing. Can you imagine that? The wolf sacrificing her singing voice to be human, and the prince losing his hearing and being unable to even hear the wolf's regular speaking voice...

This is going to sound like a nitpick but I expected more wolf girl features on the princess, some bushy eyebrows, cat's eyes, maybe some a spikey haircut that suggest wolf ears but not actually wolf ears(not sure what they call that in anime) If she already gave up her voice what else will she have to give up or it the prince that needs to give up something and we're going the 'gift of the magi' route?

As for the ending, my guess is that the witch will look into prince's heart and see he most values his companion, so she'll ask for her in exchange of sight. Wolf will be like - "Okay. I love him, so it's fine.", but prince will be like "Nooo! How could I exchange her life for my sake?" but wolf will be like "You don't understand! It's all my fault!" and transform, but prince'll definitely be like "Screw it, let's fight this boss instead, with the power of love!" Knowing Nippon Ichi, it'll probably end up on depressive note or something.

you know what, the witch in the beginning was extremely reasonable. AFTER getting the good singing voice for the deal, she could have just turn her into a human form forever, but she not only gave her the ability to choose the form the wolf would take, but the witch even change her spell so that the wolf can change between a monster and human form, something she was not obligated to do. As far as people in her line of work go, she is rather generous.
I have a prediction! The prince wil make his wish, and end up losing the player character, o the memories they made together depending on if the witch takes physical or more sentiments (ex: singing voice).
