From the composer:
"Silent Night" was my grandmother’s favorite Christmas carol, and while she spoke no more than a handful of words in English, she knew the tune when she heard it. She passed away from cancer in 2013, and I always wanted to honor her by writing this arrangement. Each verse expands in harmony and color before concluding with silence and three gentle chords on the words "Silent Night.”
