It is not the original version. The original version didn’t sound as good. This is the remix version that you have undoubtedly heard in the radio several times in the past.

It's interesting that the synth solo is almost "scored". That's probably wise because winging it in a tight pop song like this wouldn't always work. (Drum machines and sequencers made music too tight sometimes, but it worked on this song).
