How sweet of the lady doing this recording saying to herself/thinking out loud "qué bello" when Steve comes on the stage and when he talks. Indeed, how beautiful he is, body, mind and soul.
Gosh. That must have been so difficult for Steve to be listening his own song whilst discussing grief and loss. He held it together very well. A heart felt song indeed.
Steve, Thank you for taking the time to be there for all those who attended. I know those who have passed from you’re life were with you this day in spirit. You’re Mother & Grandfather are very proud of you for all you’re courage. May the Lord always keep his guiding hand upon you and continue to bless you down the road. Stay positive and know you are loved so much by millions. 🧡💙💜❤️💛💚 Love you 🙏🏻
Lia thank you for posting this. I think you can hear the writer in Steve, he spoke so eloquently. He made the most sense. I just have to say , that comment he made about his voice. Really, his voice isn't different. If you listen to the song, "I am" in his love of strange medicine album, his voice is the exact same voice. His voice rocks. Also, he looked wonderful
He's right... you've got to embrace the grief not run from it. When I lost my son my "Most of all..." I tried everything to not feel it until I realized I had to feel it to move through it. 💔 It never goes away, just lives in a quieter place in our soul....
Steve; you don’t have to put yourself out there like you have all these years! You wrote from your heart all these decades! I also live in a state of melancholy all my life. I kick myself for being this way; but you’ve allowed me to be in this state and just be.
Well, that was interesting-was good to see steve laughing, lol, a good sign of healing. Laughter is very good medicine, keep it up steve, you deserve to be happy for you have brought joy to so many 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
I wish this video was taken in landscape mode 😱. Probably can rotate it with a video editing app for your ☎️. I’m here for Steve Perry and appreciate hearing this conference, but it’s hard to watch this sideways
If you're looking to only hear what Steve Perry has to say among those from this panel you only need to listen from 10:42 into the discussion to 17:17 afterwards. The rest is the opinions of the others with their dealings and or coping skills with loss and grief.
Oh, Steve, how I envy your situation. You lost your partner, but she didn't want to leave you; mine did. That rejection makes this loss so much worse. We were only together for 10 months, but close friends for eight years. It's a death, but no funeral.
Yes, he is a disgrace. The only time he seemed interested in even being there was when he could spew his anger and hatred for God, and using profanity to further his point. But one day he will be standing before Him, explaining his words. Sad that the so-called host chimed in with 'most Jews don't believe in God'. The jews are God's chosen people! It's Yeshua that they don't believe is the messiah. Except for Steve, this whole thing was quite a waste of time to listen to.
Exactly what I thought! Steve Perry is just thinking in his mind that this guy is a joke! And the way he was talking about god! So disrespectful! If I were that lady after talking like that I would have kicked hom off that panel of people up there. Steve Perry was THE best speaking person up there!
@@journeyon2489 Yes! That dude was very disrespectful about God, "f**k god"????😒 Steve was very informative on his grief speech. I can listen to him talk all day, so intelligent.
I can't believe how that blonde guy talked about God and used His name. I believe in free speech, but just because you CAN say anything you want doesn't mean you SHOULD say it. If he feels that way, he should keep it to himself in this environment where people are there to talk about their grief and healing. Obviously, many people who are grieving rely on their faith in God to get through it. And instead of being sympathetic and respectful toward his audience, his comments must make many of them feel violated. I think this is a form of hate speech. I love Steve Perry and thought that his statements were very healing and very well-thought-out but I hated seeing him get such a big laugh at those crass remarks from the blonde.
Jean Lizzie I think it was “shock” response by Steve💙 and once you’re in “laugh mode” it’s Hard to stop, It must run its course. I too was shocked by his crude comments
carla brown Steve is the only panalist that was coherent. For a person to understand their grief, maybe you should be able to express it (which didn’t happen) and if it was music you wanted to hear about, get musicians.
Pedro De Leon You’re right. After watching the conference over again, the topic is such a personal thing for any of the speakers to try to explain out loud. Steve was able to word it the best (might be why he is so beloved), his talent is how he can draw people to his songs.
@@politicaloutsider413 Far from it- his applause was the loudest. Watch the 1 hour 28 min vid from Museum of Pop, he answered the audience's questions beautifully, drawing from his very own personal experience. Making very clear statements, not rambling or being grandiloquent. Probably the most coherent person there. .
@Macho Man hahahahaha!! No, I just need to be a licensed psychiatrist to diagnose Steve Perry and all those AA participants on stage Only someone with an uneventful lifestyle like you Macho, lol, could find something as boring as this video very interesting, lol.
I love everything about steve perry too

He still rolls with his mother. So cute. That’s Ishmael I believe.
God made man and man made scissors and razors this guy sure needs them and if you don’t believe in god keep your opinions to yourself

Ps. That’s a joke below about Steve - no one showing up.
The west coast has had some weird freaks for a long time.
It’s too bad no one showed up to hear Steve.
The place was packed, many people standing.
