Ultimately it's his voice- oh the lyrics are awesome, but who else could sing this song with so much emotion? This song brings me to tears each time I hear it, because I've been here, in this painful, melancholy state. I'm sure many of us have. And now he's back! Just in the nick of time with an album that again hits me right where I am. I lost my beloved, "Most of All", my precious husband last year, and Steve's album "Traces" has helped me get thru the grieving process. I agree! Arnel is a very good singer but, he tries to sound like Steve (when singing Journey songs) and I don't care for that sound. In my opinion, If you ever watched the CMT Crossroads with Rascal Flatts & Journey, Arnel sounds way better when not trying to sing/sound like Steve.

This tribute band "Voyage" is the best tribute band for Journey. Their lead singer & frontman is: HUGO VALENTI ... HE IS EXCELLENT, GREAT VOCALS. He even looks like the fabulous Steve Perry and in the same vocal range. When I see and hear Hugo sing it brings back the memories of the old days in the 70's, 80's when it was the real Journey with Steve Perry in the lead. Those were the best days. "Voyage" in my opinion is the best tribute band to Journey. Journey will never be the real Journey without Steve Perry in the lead !!! ❤❤😊😊
