Exactly. It's usually takes 20 times longer to make something as it seams from video. I even have seen totally misleading videos where they showing the way to make something which just can't physically work and poor people were commenting that they did like it's shown and it's not working. + On video you never know how many tries they actually took to get to suitable results to show

After searching - the kit is THREE different items & is CRAZY EXPENSIVE ($46!!!) makely.shop/products/tacky-lampshade-glue-kit I would just buy a $12 lampshade at walmart and replace the shade with your own fabric - glue fabric over a paper-white walmart lampshade.

Are you overlapping the short sides and then gluing them together so that the side with the glued overlapping fabric is on the outside?
hi Kerry...How did you get the styrene to your lampshade size. The rolls are usually 48cm x 2mtre...so unless you have grid backing to follow a cut it is very hard to get a cut even. What did you do?

thanks. i bought some styrene roll to make the lamps. the roll was hard and quite thick to cut not like a normal styrene. What brand do you use???
