"Unhoused" sounds like a past tense verb, like "I just got unhoused, and now I'm homeless"
Exactly
Proper English
It sounds like a term rich people give to make it sound okay 😂
😂😂😂
I’m sorry Ms Jackson but this is the probably one of the best comedy sets I’ve seen in a while. The comedic timing is impeccable
is that an outkast reference?
She's funny!
i am for reeeaaaaallll
Didnt mean to make your daughter cry, I apologized a million times
Where did you watch it
I've been homeless. I feel like I'd have been more upset being called unhoused than homeless. Unhoused gives me the feeling that I was some kind of unadopted pet. Love your sets, Erin!
I once had a woman stop me on the street and ask me if I was hungry or needed any money. I said thanks but no, then I went home and threw out the sweater I was wearing.
😂😂😂 I had a guy drop change in my coffee😂😂😂 I went home and threw that entire outfit away!
Ima try this on the next dude I see looking a bit too self assured.
This video just started me on a huge Erin Jackson RUclips binge. She is FUNNY!
I love her thought process.her simple logic turned into comedy is very creative and understandable for any listener
“Stop trying to make fetch happen” 💀💀
I didn’t get this line. Was does fetch mean in this context?
@@abcdefg2120 from the movie Mean Girls. A character in that movie kept saying the word fetch to make it a trend, but her friends kept making fun of her because the word fetch was never going to happen lol.
@@winly2768Mean Girls! Thank you! I knew I knew it, I just couldn't quite remember.
Never been profiled as homeless, but I have chronic illness, so I am often in and out of hospitals, look pretty pale, sick and skinny, and usually have needle marks on my arm from blood draws and ivs. After one er trip where my vein had gotten blown out by the iv, it left a nasty needle mark surrounded by a fist sized dark bruise, so pretty obvious and not hidden by my short sleeve uniform. I had so many old ladies think I was a drug user. My boss was getting offended on my behalf.
All i red was skinny.LOL
I'm kidding
Erin like the way you put your words together, gets me chuckling every time!🤣
her timing is so good this is great
No cursing. Just good comedy 👌
Right! Her, Tracey Ashley and Kimberly Clark were my fav
Funny as hell! More please!
Erin Jackson is so funny!! Good on Tiffany Haddish for letting us see her!
This is how I feel about the word “Latinx” 😆
Erin Jackson was *thee* best stand-up from Season 2 of 'They Ready'. I mean she was head and shoulders above the rest.
I agree!
I saw a short of this chick and had to check her out. Phenomenal, ima massive fan noe
Unhoused also seems like they had a home taken away when often homelessness is more gradual than that. We are a lot closer to homelessness than being rich just being in middle class alone. Many people can be considered homeless bc they may have shelter but its not stable or consistent or theyre moving around a lot/crashing with others. Homelessness is having unstable shelter and place to meet your needs. I don't think a person who is homeless is going to feel better being called unhoused if said home situation is still unchanged.
She's very refreshing! ♥️
That’s not how suffixes work 😂😂😂😝💀
… and in this logic… “un” means not, so then we’re calling them ‘not’?!. I think ‘less’ would be a lesser insult than ‘not’
I love that she broke the terms down this way.
In French they say shelterless. Makes sense, but people need homes, not just shelter.
I love this woman 😂
She was excellent! 😂😂😂
Just randomly dropping a mean girl line 😂....
I lived in a shelter a few years whilst working part time & going to school - i considered myself as neither homeless nor unhoused ... but simply 'rent-less' !
need more of this!!!!!!!!
This was great!
MOTIVATIONAL UBER!!! LOL!!!
This was the funniest thing I’ve see in a while
Funny. Nice delivery
I've never heard "fetch" used outside of Utah. 🤣
After a festival I was on the floor outside a train station waiting for my severely delayed train when a drunk dude very insistently gave me £10 because I did look a wreck and 100% homeless vagabond but it was great as I REALLY needed that £10 as my card had been stolen.
Wow! My new favorite comic. The language is George Carlin level poetic.
More please!!🤣🤣❤️❤️👍🎯
Oooooh hello. I’m sorry Ms. Jackson, but I haven’t seen ya before. This is *reall* comedy folks
You understand how hotels work right😁😁
I was once mistaken for being a 40 year old Homeless lady.... AT THE AGE OF 15!!!
Finally a smart comedian 😂😂😂
Had me cracking up!!
This women is hilarious
😂 I love this! ❤
why am I not surprised that this happened in Boston
that was so becky of that girl!! :)
I actually mistook someone for being homeless. I was about ready to buy them some Burger King too.
good fetch reference. well done
I had a lady once give me free donuts because I "looked hungry".
Sweet gesture, but still
Where can i find this whole show, i would really like to see
NETFLIX DUH
@@mdalishawon 🤣
It's Tiffany Hadish: They Ready.
Each episode has a different comedian, I believe Erin is on Season 2.
Damn, she got CRAZY eyes in that thumbnail:) popeyes
Those eyes caught my eyes too.
I used to work in a supermarket and this woman would come in who had eyes just like that but slightly wider and that was their natural resting state.
10s ! So very funny
Nice
😂😂😂😂😂
A lot 😂
Sometimes same, but only in looks...most difference in MEMTALITY...
Good video
Luckily I haven’t 🤣
Thank you, unhoused is such a cringey word invented by try-hards
Her eyes about to pop out her head
😂😂😂😂😂😂
She CMTFU...☝🏽😂
I broke the 1999k likes 🎉🎉🎉
As a former foster child that has been HOMELESS for most of my adult life, I can say with prejudice, Don't call me unhoused. It sounds like I contracted a disease riddled in poverty. Don't like homeless either but I am less a home due to some very unfortunate circumstances. I had help lol
See that’s how u get a bad review and one star or less
I’ve had the unhoused correction by a group of my coworkers before. I said GTF outta here with that shit, like who do you think you are helping. You aren’t writing an academic paper. Also, unhoused isn’t even the correct term. If person centered language is the PC standard then it’s people experiencing homelessness, not people experiencing being unhoused. This is why people hate liberals, and I am one. Focus your energy on actually doing good rather than correcting going around correcting people. TF!
I get the idea of person centered language, but it always seems to involve a paragraph when a word would do.
@@pazza4555 preach! It makes sense for an academic paper but otherwise it is a waste IMHO. White folks tiptoed around “African American” for 20+ years, and now “black and brown” is sufficient most of the time. It’s the same with Latinx and Latino, ask them, then refer to them as that.
Changing the name of the condition doesn't change the nature of the condition.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Powerful.
what I really appreciated about her routine was that it was intelligent comedy. Whenever I see a woman doing comedy I'm waiting for the joke about her body part. Why is that so common with female comedians?.
This comedian made the joke work without having the talk about her body parts. Powerful
I don't find her too funny. Mildly amusing at best.
When you're homeless, PC culture goes right the fuck out of the window, ya wish ya had..
No because I'm homeless.
😁👏😂🤣😄
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
👌😁💚
Was the young girls name Karen?
Calling someone a Karen. How inventive.
Erin is a murderer. She's awesome
I used to be homeless and I don’t see what’s wrong with saying homeless
Finally a decent comedian woman that is actually funny had me 😆 🤣
Sam Jay is hilarious
There's a lot of them but only the bad ones become hella famous
I like this. Almost as much as I like my stupid comedy videos.Give me a chance 😀🙌🙌🙌🙌
So just how many times did you have to repeat the eighth grade?
This many times 🖕
i thought this was a different Erin Jackson
Great set! Terrible laugh track
She’s like a female Dave Chapelle 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Too bad Tiffany has her name over hers. She’s funny as hell
my generation rlly be dumb 🤦
I Love Mary Elizabeth Price and I Will Love Her No Matter What In Jesus Christ Name 🙏🏿
I'm sorry but what does the painter Mary Elizabeth Price have to do with a clip of a stand up comedy show?
And I love Doritos. I will love them in Billy Graham's name.
Corny
I mean this is just wrong tho. Homeless is a problematic term.
No it fucking isn't; I say this as somebody who's been homeless three times in my life - once with my family as a child and twice as an adult. No homeless person I've ever known has taken issue with the word. Further I realistically see a day, probably in about 10 for 15 years, where people like you will take the word "unhoused", claim it's pejorative or basically a slur and come up with some new PC bullshit like "dwellingless" or "undwellinged".
@@danieljackson1272 k. whether you specifically take offense is entirely irrelevant to the society-level impact of the word.
Oh hey look, it's the girl she was talking about!
@@DemKatie42 clever
It's a descriptor. You could say person experiencing homelessness to make it more clear it's temporary and not life-defining.
.... american humor, only funny in failmerica 😐🤔
😂😂😂😂😂
