I always build a bamboo scaffolding on the wall at the back of the farm to cut the trees down from the top , saves some time

wiht three trees i got literally got exactly 3584 wood planks, in less than 10 minutes, this farm its very nice! You can make also make a simple mobtrap to get bonemeal(I made that).

Make ladder or scaffolding to the top of tree, and just cut the tree from top. That more faster
I think its more for the Logs/Saplings/apples/sticks then an automatic farm i do find it annoying when im looking around for the last sapling then it dispawns and then i got 3 Random saplings and no big tree
Its a good farm when paired with a Skelton farm for infinite bone meal

Well i built it and i can say it works but i lost so many axes, really need to get a villager farm going
I made a diamond axe, i put mending, and efficiency in it, so i use a mobtrap to get xp and also bones(to get bone meal), with that you will only use an axe(I made it on java, idk if that works on bedrock)
Feels like this is a very complicated thing for something as simple as cutting down a tree to be honest
Edit: Being able to collect all the apples and sticks and saplings is a nice thing, but all you have to do is wait and they will all fall next to you, pick them up and there you go. Having this "Wood farm" isn't even a wood farm, you're still cutting down the wood yourself, if you can get 7000 wood an hour then go ahead and use an hour getting wood, but you don't need this silly contraption to collect them for you.

I worked on it, at the end of the vid, apparently i have to collect it. The only thing automatic in this is collecting whats dropping after you cut the tree. waste of time
That’s why it’s called an early game wood/log farm and just because you have to cut down the wood yourself doesn’t mean it isn’t a wood farm just like how you have to harvest your wheat farm manually there’s automatic farms and manual farms and he never said in the title it was an automatic farm farms like this save more time than you think

I got like 3 and a half pack of spruce logs, you can make a mobtrap(there is a lot of easy ones), so you can get bones and make bone meal, so it grows faster.
not really a farm when u can do this normally on the floor and get the same effect
