Love this farm, as soon as I have enough iron for 4 hoppers I build it first. I very rarely upgrade to something bigger on a single player world, there's only so much you can use iron for 😀
If it ever stops working, you may need to break and replace the beds. For some reason my villagers got unassigned to their bed and I had to do this to fix it, as they couldn't sleep causing no golems to spawn.
Didn't work for me I tried this right after reading your comment. They all sleep and use the beds, and are afraid of the zombie, but after spawning 4-5 IGs it stopped working again. Any fixes?
@@WhatsGoodClips-mq9ex If you nametag one they won't despawn, ever. If you find yourself without a name tag, wait for it to get night, then look for a zombie that can HOLD AN ITEM. You can see if they can hold items by: A) They already are holding an item/tool (e.g. iron shovel, sword, etc.). This zombie spawned with an item, so they can hold it. B) Chuck whatever useless item you can at zombies until one of them picks the item up. This zombie can hold items. It shouldn't take too long to find one 👍
Great and simple tutorial, works perfect! 1 thing I noticed, the zombie in the boat was too close to the villagers, which prevented the iron golem from spawning, just pushed the zombie a few blocks back and then it worked just fine!

If the villagers aren't working make sure to build this 100 blocks from other beds, work stations, and villagers as this has to classify as it's own village
@@b4thtoaster If you follow the build the step by step it should be ok. The hardest part was moving the villagers... they move a lot. T_T But, after the first one it was much easier.
I just got two and bred them but it was hard to transport them because I built mine far away from my house so I used the nether to transport them witch made it even harder

I think it’s around 16 blocks from the center and 13 blocks up and down so 16x13x16

This farm works without any flaws, i did 3 of your farms and youre great at this, (u gained a sub)
For anyone having trouble on Bedrock, below where the villagers are, breed villagers till about 20 of them then put 20 beds down and one last thing is to make them all have jobs (I put 20 Cartography tables down on the floor)

Love this farm, as soon as I have enough iron for 4 hoppers I build it first. I very rarely upgrade to something bigger on a single player world, there's only so much you can use iron for 😀
That's exactly my opinion as well, why would you need a huge iron farm if you're just on your own?
@@Voltrox does the zombie need a name tag

@@jackthegamer7810 No, Mobs wont despawn if they are in a boat
Works pretty well, good tutorial.
If it ever stops working, you may need to break and replace the beds. For some reason my villagers got unassigned to their bed and I had to do this to fix it, as they couldn't sleep causing no golems to spawn.
Thanks it actually helped
Didn't work for me I tried this right after reading your comment. They all sleep and use the beds, and are afraid of the zombie, but after spawning 4-5 IGs it stopped working again. Any fixes?
Do you know what i should do if the zombie keeps on disappearing?
it should be in a boat so it shouldn't despawn! Maybe nametag it?@@WhatsGoodClips-mq9ex
@@WhatsGoodClips-mq9ex If you nametag one they won't despawn, ever.
If you find yourself without a name tag, wait for it to get night, then look for a zombie that can HOLD AN ITEM. You can see if they can hold items by:
A) They already are holding an item/tool (e.g. iron shovel, sword, etc.). This zombie spawned with an item, so they can hold it.
B) Chuck whatever useless item you can at zombies until one of them picks the item up. This zombie can hold items.
It shouldn't take too long to find one 👍
Really easy tutorial and does the job quite perfectly couldnt have found a tutorial better than this
Great and simple tutorial, works perfect!
1 thing I noticed, the zombie in the boat was too close to the villagers, which prevented the iron golem from spawning, just pushed the zombie a few blocks back and then it worked just fine!
Can you explain a little more because I’m having the same problem
@@Xerszluvsu sorry for the late answer, my zombie in the boat was too close to the villagers, he was almost inside the trapdoor. this is so amazing!! Literally have had it on for like 30 mins with already a stack of iron. Considering I just started this world and im trying to advance quick, this is awesome. So easy to make and so effective
If the villagers aren't working make sure to build this 100 blocks from other beds, work stations, and villagers as this has to classify as it's own village
I did this and its still broke
So the villagers need to both not have a job and be far enough away from other villagers right?
@@kylechapman5730 same
@@b4thtoaster If you follow the build the step by step it should be ok. The farm needs to be at least 100 blocks away from any villager/workstations/beds in order to work, also make sure the villagers in the farm sleep in the beds at the farm. CAUTION:
This iron farm will STOP WORKING after a while, this is because the villagers CANT spawn any iron golems if they HAVENT SLEPT in 20 minutes, and if theyre always PANICKED (constantly alerted by the zombie) they cant go to sleep. A simple REDSTONE CLOCK linked up to a TRAPDOOR, esentially breaking the line of sight between the zombie and the villagers should fix the issue. Voltrox, if youre reading this, I would suggest to update this video 🙏
you are right i had the same problem. A few iron golems got spawned and then nothing
@@ARandomGuitarlmao I doubt someone would bother to make alts just for fake yt comments, likely that its just people commenting right after building it because most people won't do a extended test before commenting.
