I own this exact spec bike, (but in admiral Blue). It is simply the best example of modern Italian bike engineering.
Smooth, stiff, silk-like gear change ... everything is top spec.

The cool thing about this dream build is that you can only dream about a bike like this. 95% of the people cannot afford a bike like this because the cycling industry lives in a different dimension. Now days even a bike you can barely afford you have to preorder and wait 6+ months to arrive, ridiculous.

Love the build and I love campy rim groupsets, I just cant get over how comically large the shifters are on disk, much like sram and shimano (mechanical) solutions

@@g_4462 I've never owned campy but I ride all 3 groupsets regularly and sram would be the last thing I would spend money on for my own bike right now. I used to love the rim brake red22 groupset but axs disc is absolute garbage.

Butwhen a critic uses words (combinations) like 'absolute carbage' while a former underdog brand (Sram) has outplayed a former market leader / titan (Shimano) in just a few years time in terms of (electronic) group sets in both mountain biking and road cycling, you know one thing immediately: you can throw the credibility of those critics straight out the window. Have a nice day.
@@g_4462 I can tell from your comments is that you've never actually used or had to deal with these products on a daily basis. Sram has elevated it's profile through acquisitions and speedy development by making the customers the beta testers, not some miracle innovation. Some products work great, others not so much but that's for the customers to find out. What offsets the disappointing outcomes of this business model is that they have an amazing warranty department. I'm not saying this is good or bad, it would be nice if people knew what they were getting into before they made their purchases. But to appeal to your more delicate sensibilities I will say AXS isn't all what most think it is, the competition outperforms it in every way except for the form factor. How's that?

My old road bike sadly got stolen yesterday. Even though it was a pretty cheap even when I first bought it, it got me through high school and nearly every class in college. Now I guess I can finally afford to build my own, but I don't know if I want to if its just going to get stolen again...
The way of wirings are bit complicated but it looks so damn clean, and what's that powder on chain?

This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
