Have had my Helix for 3 years. Love love love it. Also, Helix now has a line that is all natural. People i know with allergies love this line. Costco also carries single origin extra virgin olive oil. That's not easy to find in a grocery store.
Yes girl! My coworker and I have a running joke at work. How can you tell if someone doesn't bake? They think crumble cookies are good..... frankly they're gross.
I sometimes buy a meal from the deli section (like the Chicken pot pie) because after my whirlwind grocery shopping days I don’t want to cook and it’s cheaper than getting take out for eight people :D
The flip oven we love!!!! It preheats in about 30 seconds. When flipped up it takes up next to no space. It cooks so evenly does 9 pieces of toast at a time a frozen pizza it is great for frozen pizzas. Uses so little electricity. We stopped using our regular oven.
For the small appliances at Costco, i bought a big countertop oven 10 in 1 that can do roast, toast, air fry, dehydrate, convection and so much more... For someone living alone, it's perfect! I mostly don't use my regular oven!
I agree. We got one for a Christmas present for my mother-in-law and it's our most used item in our kitchen. It saves us from having to heat up the big oven for smaller meals.
We bought a big air frier, toaster, oven... it does everything but rub your feet. We love it. It does take a little too much counter space, but we use it every day. Usually, more than once a day.
Wow, this was a "right on" video except for one item. Then I understood as soon as you had finished saying it. We bought a mattress in a box, Novoform, from Costco and LOVE it. I understand that you are a Helix associate and love them, but that Novoform has been great for us. I agreed with all the other recommendations, and was glad to hear someone else thought like me.
I must have gotten a dud because the Novoform I ordered had a hole in it where I slept in about six months time. I'm a normal sized person so it was unexpected. Worst part was I had to fight with Costco support over two months to finally get them to come pick it up 😒
The Ninja Foodie 10-in-1 is WHERE IT’S AT!!! I also love Costco because they stand behind every product and will accept returns without any questions asked! It’s worth the extra dollars (to me) to know I can return it if it’s a bust (rather than buying cheap on Prime Day and then being stuck).
Love this video!! 😂 Also... 1) not a Crumbl fan AT ALL, 2) agree with you about all the oversized decor, 3) the RTE meals are definitely overpriced, but are a lifesaver for hectic schedules, last minute dinner guests, or when I'm sick or gone because no one's eating drive thru food & it's cheaper than home delivery food plans, and lastly, 4) absolutely agree that their meat dept is almost always more expensive than supermarkets & not necessarily better quality. Costco is flipping amazing, but you really need to know the going price of groceries and household necessities to make it work for your budget.
I LOVE my prokeepers!. I can keep produce 2-3 times longer than normal. Just used blue berries that were 3 weeks old. Lettuce will last for 2 weeksI Melon I cut up will last forever because the juice runs into the tray and the melon pieces don't get soft as fast. use them constantly!
I just put my Romane lettuce in gallon ziplock bags, & it stays good for about 6 wks as I use it up. We buy about 4 bags at once, since we live 2 hrs away... the system works great!
Best buy ever!!!!!! A $250.00 Christmas tree, in a big black trash bag with only a small opening,to see it was HUGE!!!!! I bought it for only$10.00 because the thrift store owner didn't want to take it out!! Our family used it for over 20 years. I always took it apart folded up branches & stored it in a large flat tire under the bed. When children moved out & one wanted to take it with her & she used it for many years till they grow their own in front yard to decorate. I still love finding a great deal!😁
We have a small oven\ airfryer and we use it all the time. It's just my husband and me so I divide casseroles into 4 portions and reheat them or cook in the little oven. It's the perfect size for an 8x8 pan for brownies and cornbread. It keeps our kitchen cooler. If I had a bigger family I might not get as much use out of it. Oh, and I can rotisserie a chicken in it ( though I usually buy a Costco chicken). I also use an immersion blender for soups, so much easier than putting soup in the blender. I never use our blender so it's not cluttering my counter and I would donate it but it's my husband's. It's easier to clean than a blender.
Great video! Just wanted to share..the benefit of Costco is returning items! Frugal tip: return what isn't serving you! Usually don't need your receipt because it is on your account. No tags, no problem, they get the number off the tag inside the clothes. I'm just sorry you donated your food keepers instead of getting your money back. 💰 I don't get sucked in on most Costco items. I used to go to a store that the employee always saw me and said you always have 3 items, it's crazy! 😂 I did recently get a flannel shirt by Jach's that I love, it is soo perfectly thin and warm! Highly recommend! I buy butter in bulk and freeze boxes, love the Siete grain free tortilla chips for basically the same price as our store for double the size. We keep the Milton's cauliflower veggie pizzas in our freezer for quick dinners that satiate. Agree on the meat, although the prices on prime/choice briskets is pretty amazing! Just discovered this year that their prices on eye contacts smokes every deal I have ever found! Happy shopping!!
When you purchase online Costco ships the mattress to your house. We have purchased 2 so far and it was a good experience. I understand your point about the quality as it's individual choice but the inconvenience to carry it home is an easy fix.
There are several types of chicken - air chilled and water chilled (the second you’re paying for water), also when something (perishable product) goes on sale at my local grocery store it’s usually fairly close to it’s ’past due’ date.
Glad you had fun with your baby girl doing this!!! ❤ And here I thought you were going to talk about how you can get better deals on toilet paper elsewhere. And how their Papertowels are a waste b/c they vs brawny. You will fly through more Costco/Sams than Brawny b/c they pull easier from a dispenser than Brawny. I’ve done the test in both Papertowels and toilet paper. And I stoped buying from Sam’s/costco - their brand. And I find much better deals elsewhere like Target on brand paper products.
I agree totally with you on the cookies. They were brought in to our office by a vendor and all of the cookies tasted the same. Too sweet! My husband and I have a helix bed and have not looked back since purchasing.
As I use the almond milk for cooking and protein smoothies , not drinking plain, and the unit price is the most budget friendly in my area (my family maintains a TIGHT budget) the Kirkland almond milk is a staple for us 🙂
You should read the ingredients - full of fake sugar and creepy fats. Gives awful bloating and actual health problems for many. Lots of people don’t realize what the sugar substitute is doing. It can make you dizzy and unsteady. Much better to buy the Rx bars. Only 5 simple ingredients.
Worked at crumbl, it was so fun but I’m a certified crumbl hater due to horrible store management and HR practices. The toppings are the only special thing about them, which just looking at them you can figure out how to do at home
Ok. But the ninja foodie one….we LOVE it. It folds up out of the way and a lifesaver during the summer when you don’t want to heat up the house with the oven. Find it on sale somewhere like Kohls. WORTH IT!!!
We bought our king mattress and box-springs at Costco. (Not the kind in a box.) It is the most comfortable mattress that we have ever had! Also I love my Snow-Trax. They never slip off and they grip like mad on ice.
I've watched for four years and have never been the first to comment :D Thanks, Christine. A great reminder that 'discount' doesn't always equal the best value. Always compare. I see many items in our £ stores here in the UK that are excellent value, but many aren't. The same goes for big-ticket items on Amazon etc.
People have their “notifications” turned on. Several months ago, out of nowhere, I started getting notifications pop up, while on my iPad. Not sure what I did to initiate them.🤯😂. Not sure how to turn them off. Occasionally, I appreciate them.
Started off feeling like I was partaking in sacrilege but then your just spitting facts ma’am 👏🏻💐 and thanks for the pre made protein shake drink oil advice as I did not know
I love my toaster oven. I always wanted two ovens, and mine fits a 13x9 pan. It's even a convection oven and was only $70. I use it all the time in the summer. Keeps the heat down in the house.
We do buy Kirkland's almond milk because we go through it by the gallons in smoothies, and the other smoothie ingredients probably mask the flavor you don't like. Loved your Crumbl's spoof!
Another thing about Costco is that for many products they only stock a certain brand. It might be a name brand like hidden valley ranch or mission tortillas or Quaker Oats. If you want the name brand then it’s a good deal but you may save money if you bought a generic at another store. If it’s part of the “rotation” and you buy certain things there and certain things at other stores then it can certainly save money.
I actually just purchased the kirkland almond milk. Although it's not your favorite, I actually like it a lot. It's a better deal volume-wise compared to the silk brand. But we can have our differences. I appreciate you sharing your "do not buy" list! Thanks.
Chicken breast where I live is typically $6.49-$6.99/lb in grocery stores and sales are never below $4.99/lb so when I am able to get to Costco, I dont mind paying their usual price for it as it's usually still cheaper than the local sale price and I wont have to worry about hunting down a deal for a few weeks.
I have two other notes on the vegetable storage thingies... they actually do work really well for storing mushrooms. Just toss a paper towel in the bottom and they will keep for a long time!.... however do not under any circumstances run them through the dishwasher. They will come out in an entirely new shape 😅
The small appliances I use often: air fryer, instant pot, rice cooker, blender, food processor and a toaster oven (love this so much when I don't want to heat up my kitchen)
I buy Costco boneless skinless chicken breast for the convenience of throwing them straight in the freezer. They actually cost pretty close to the same per pound as the grocery stores here in Upstate SC.
I've recently joined Costco for the first time. Your vids have been helpful. I don't decorate for Christmas except for a wreath on the door so #1 is easy!
1. That was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Well done!!! 2. YAY for Speedy!!! 3. I literally just got that exact same chicken street taco pack at Kroger on reduced price for a $5.59 this morning. 🤣🤣🤣 💙💙💙
i’m in australia and the meat at costco here is actually cheaper. our grocery stores here never run sales on meat and so costco prices are generally unbeatable. we get 8-9lb of ground beef for $40 (it works out to about $10/kg or $5/lb) and we got about 14-15lb of pork for $8 a kg (about $4/lb). that’s cheap. ain’t finding cheaper anywhere else. so we like costco for meat and usually do a big stock up then cook it and freeze it into smaller portions for meal prep. the rest of the stuff i agree with, the 6 foot xmas decorations for $300-$400 are a joke! who has storage space for that? our costco doesn’t sell mattresses but i agree with you on all the other small appliances.
I had a rough day and my chicken didn’t fully thaw so I stopped at Walmart regretting the fact that I was about to pay too much for a prepped meal. Then I found half off rotisserie chickens! I bought 2 and found the energy to roast potatoes and make a salad 😂.
Here in southern Maine, we are eagerly awaiting the opening of a Costco (they’re even selling memberships before the building is completed!), so this is a helpful reality check. Bless you, Christine.
Fellow Mainer here. I can hardly stand the excitement, I didn't know they were selling memberships pre-opening. We'll get ours this weekend! Yippee!! BJs is good, but we'll have to decide which membership to keep. It's way too tempting to have both, I know that much.
The young lady named Rebecca from the channel Dollar Tree Dinners recreated Crumble Cookies using Dollar Tree ingredients and they looked fabulous!!! I’m not ever trying to pay $20 for a single cookie!!!! Not unless it has a gold nugget or a pearl in the center of it!!!😂😂😂😂
They are Duncan Hines cake mix. It's somebody idea and company. The found a way to save some money by using cake mix and didn't reinvent the wheel just made it better.
Love your videos..but..we don't have cosco stores where I live in North Carolina..but I love love the crumble cookies..my favorite is the chocolate chip..oh my gosh..its soft thick an so good..but..I only get one (1) once a month...cant afford them I do make some at home but I've been divorced 31 yrs...so this is my gift to me..❤keep sharing❤
I ALWAYS buy the ravioli in the ready made section. It is generally about $17.00 and provides at least 4 meals for my husband and me! It is also DELICIOUS. ❤
😂😂😂😂😂 the people you pretended to be with those reactions was so funny! I almost had my coffee coming out of my nose. I agree with you. I didn’t even know what the cookie brand was and my mum told me about it. Her and my sister had me try a piece and I spit it immediately out lmao.
You are SOOOOO right about crumbl cookies! Yuk! Major yuk! Our younger daughter got a job w/ a new CC that went up in our home town. Packaging & marketing are indeed enticing. But the product is NOT good! One exception for me: The pecan pie cookie. The cookie base wasn't so thick or sweet, & the pecan pie filling was just the right salty-sweet. Everything else - EVERYTHING!!! - is just as you described: One-note flavor, just bland sugary-ness, no nuanced or distinctive flavors. I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work! 😊
I never comment on here. But, I agree WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID!! One of the main reasons I do not have a Costco membership or Sam's any longer. I have a nurse friend that loves them both and I just go with her if I need something. I LOVED the comedy. Don't we all need a little comedy right now??? Yes, YES I think we do!! xoxoxo
Haha, love the Crumbl skits! 😆 For Costco “won’t buy” - eggs! Idk why my Costco won’t lower their prices on their eggs, but they’re still asking $11.99 for 60, but I found 60 eggs at Walmart for $5.63! Eggs seem to be hanging around $1.20/dozen in my area, so not sure why Costco’s are so high!
I noticed Costco here has significantly higher prices than Safeway here, too. Costco's are free range though and the comparison ones at Safeway's weren't, so I'm thinking that's why the ones at Costco cost more.
I have two foodie Appliances, the 8 qts one, I use minimly Once a week and the indoor grill one also once a week minimly. And my children use it too. So, we just have lots of cleanup, but in our family they are extremely helpful. I have a child in after-school activity, that would keep me from cooking dinner. They are saving our budget and we eat healthier at home meals. I did Not buy them at COSTCO, but I did purchase them New. We loved them, that we are getting them for my sister-in-law to take to her as gifts when I visit her.
We did not renew our Costco membership because we just were not seeing the savings and we buy so few things there that it doesn't really make sense. Plus, it's across town and we just hate making that drive. As for Crumbl cookies, we've never had them and don't intend to ever try them. I make my own sweets and my kids say store bought, even bakery, doesn't compare. When I see people spending almost twenty dollars on four cookies...I just shake my head.
Thanks for the advice, one way that I save money is by making my own milk in my Vitamix (gifted). It is so easy to do if you have one and where I purchase my nuts is so affordable. We don't drink it every day but I do use it for breakfast. Would love to see some more recipes from you, please? I quite enjoy them ...thanks 💜💜

I want to know more about your comforter! It looks sooo comfy ☺
Thanks for the rec, I need a new mattress for the guest room.
Welcome home Haley ! Glad you made a cameo appearance!
Best mattress we’ve ever owned, hands down!
I would say those countertop ovens are useful for us single people who don’t like to turn on the main oven to make 1-2 servings.
@@cnk2hoo Same! I love my Sur La Tabla!
Exactly why I purchased an air fryer :-)
Have had my Helix for 3 years. Love love love it. Also, Helix now has a line that is all natural. People i know with allergies love this line. Costco also carries single origin extra virgin olive oil. That's not easy to find in a grocery store.

I sometimes buy a meal from the deli section (like the Chicken pot pie) because after my whirlwind grocery shopping days I don’t want to cook and it’s cheaper than getting take out for eight people :D
And way cheaper than going to a restaurant would cost that much and more for just 1 meal
One thing to take into consideration is the amazing Costco return policy!!!!
Yes! 🎉🎉
Yes. They are great about returns.
We got the foldable 10 in 1 oven at Costco. We use it all the time!
We bought a big air frier, toaster, oven... it does everything but rub your feet. We love it. It does take a little too much counter space, but we use it every day. Usually, more than once a day.

We too.We love Our 4 Novoform mattresses!
I must have gotten a dud because the Novoform I ordered had a hole in it where I slept in about six months time. I'm a normal sized person so it was unexpected. Worst part was I had to fight with Costco support over two months to finally get them to come pick it up 😒
@@MermaidmomUP I'm so sorry to hear this.

@@marieburdin6776 +1, 100% agree. I use it every single day
I have this one and we use it daily
Amazon returns are just as easy as Costco.
I got it on sale for $40 less. It fits perfectly on the kitchen space above the sink in the small galley kitchen thus preserving counter space

I bought my kids Sealy mattresses from costco online. They were delivered promptly and they hauled away the old ones for free. Very pleased!
Yep agree on the meat, but we do still buy it there (AUS) as the price is similar and probably creates a few less trips to the supermarket.
We bought the ninja oven as a replacement for our toaster. We use it everyday and really love it.
So on point on the crubl cookies! Love it thank you for sharing ❤

I've recently joined Costco for the first time. Your vids have been helpful. I don't decorate for Christmas except for a wreath on the door so #1 is easy!
Me too. I’m always at my mom’s place so I’m not here for Christmas.
I totally agree with all of your do not buy items. I've been a member of Costco for over 20 years.
1. That was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Well done!!!
2. YAY for Speedy!!!
3. I literally just got that exact same chicken street taco pack at Kroger on reduced price for a $5.59 this morning. 🤣🤣🤣
💙💙💙
Love your daughter!! She is gorgeous!! Love your videos!! Your whole family seems amazing!!
Omg outtakes are so cute! 🤗
I have never had a Crumbl cookie and dont plan on it. However, they would be a nice hostess gift if going to someone's house for dinner.
Yes!! I agree on the yucky crumbl cookies!
But we like the Kirkland unsweetened almond milk.
And we like organic and grass fed meats at Costco.
Use my immersion blender at least 5-6 times a week! Definitely a must have for me!
Thank you for the outtakes!! That was amazing!
i’m in australia and the meat at costco here is actually cheaper. our grocery stores here never run sales on meat and so costco prices are generally unbeatable. we get 8-9lb of ground beef for $40 (it works out to about $10/kg or $5/lb) and we got about 14-15lb of pork for $8 a kg (about $4/lb). that’s cheap. ain’t finding cheaper anywhere else. so we like costco for meat and usually do a big stock up then cook it and freeze it into smaller portions for meal prep. the rest of the stuff i agree with, the 6 foot xmas decorations for $300-$400 are a joke! who has storage space for that? our costco doesn’t sell mattresses but i agree with you on all the other small appliances.
@@EK-cr5ht They’re being sold at a location near the Scarborough Walmart (ironic!).
I'm late to the game but Bwahahahaha!!! The Crumbl cookie segment and bloopers! I'm dying!! 🤣🤣
Love the big outdoor Christmas lights from Costo. The last set we had were good for 10 years. We are hoping thry have something similar this year.
The young lady named Rebecca from the channel Dollar Tree Dinners recreated Crumble Cookies using Dollar Tree ingredients and they looked fabulous!!! I’m not ever trying to pay $20 for a single cookie!!!! Not unless it has a gold nugget or a pearl in the center of it!!!😂😂😂😂
She’s amazing!!!
They are Duncan Hines cake mix. It's somebody idea and company. The found a way to save some money by using cake mix and didn't reinvent the wheel just made it better.
😂❤
Where are they charging $20 for a cookie at?!?! Certainly not crumbl lol
@@kar0047that’s what I was wondering lol.
Totally with you. Crumbl Cookie was disappointing. Won't go back.
Love your videos..but..we don't have cosco stores where I live in North Carolina..but I love love the crumble cookies..my favorite is the chocolate chip..oh my gosh..its soft thick an so good..but..I only get one (1) once a month...cant afford them
I do make some at home but I've been divorced 31 yrs...so this is my gift to me..❤keep sharing❤
good to see Fairlife available there. I can't find it any longer in PA
I ALWAYS buy the ravioli in the ready made section. It is generally about $17.00 and provides at least 4 meals for my husband and me! It is also DELICIOUS. ❤
The crumbl cookie scenes made me laugh sooo hard! After a long day with three kiddos, definitely needed that! 😂
That was actually her daughter
My friend works there. Almost 30 years. Buyer beware for sure. That said, and as you noted, good deals IF YOU USE IT! Thanks for a voice of reason.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Costco Food Keeper set❤❤❤
I totally agree, we tried crumble once, expensive, snooty, sterile bakery, no bakery smells! It was like the bakery in the star ship enterprise.
I am with you about crumble. They are terrible. They use lard instead of butter, and you can taste it. Plus, charge a fortune.
I'm so glad Speedy made an appearance! I was wondering how he's doing! Hailey was a hoot...cleaning her glasses on her wee beard...so funny!
For Costco “won’t buy” - eggs!
Yep, organic upsale eggs... I wish they'd go back to the cheaper ones!
Thanks for the info on fairlife❤
Never tried crumble, or Krispy cream either.
Your hair is very cute btw
Thanks for the advice, one way that I save money is by making my own milk in my Vitamix (gifted). It is so easy to do if you have one and where I purchase my nuts is so affordable. We don't drink it every day but I do use it for breakfast.
Would love to see some more recipes from you, please? I quite enjoy them ...thanks 💜💜
Those bloopers were hilarious! LOVE IT!
The street tacos were great! As a once-in-a-while treat.
I love my pro keepers. They keep my fruits and veggies looking great for way longer than just in the fridge
