Interesting that he lays the blame for the lack of royalties at Mickie Most's door, no doubt deservedly, but I've read of other musicians blaming Arden. Well, you're right, of course, he isn't from Nashville, at least not originally. He was born in Woking, Surrey England. I don't know the whole story behind the group but I think they all were from England in the group. I think the 'Nashville' label was just a gimmick. Don't ask me why a group from Surrey, England would want to call themselves "The Nashville Teens" lol, it's a bit like life really, very little makes any sense when you stop to think deeply about it, but....oh well...here we are.
Carl Perkins was a typical 60's Southern ignorant Hick ! He could never be as great as the late Great Chuck Berry .He should of cleaned all of Mr Barry's guitars . Arthur Sharp was one good looking Brit in the Nashville Teens ,mmmmmmmmmm yes !
