Hey y'all...I'm really enjoying the longer videos, with more close ups and all the great angles...thank you. I had some thoughts on maybe some things that others might be interested in seeing/hearing, that could possibly be added/explained in some videos. I am curious how the timing works on hole shots, ET and speed, since Austin had a lower hole shot than John, but John had a faster ET and speed, but Austin won. I was thinking low ET wins, but am mistaken. I'm also curious about the staging, and how that works, since I've heard John mention before he was in deep, don't think he meant he was in deep do do with his girls, but maybe he was,lol, but wondering how staging affects the hole shot time? I'm also curious how the drivers don't get too hot at the starting line, or how they stay cool, with all that gear on, that could possibly affect their run, if heat exhaustion set in, especially on hot/humid days? I've been watching John Force all my life it seems, what a star and still winning. His family, all awesome drivers. Amazing. I'm still upset that my Dalmatian puppy ate my prized model of JF's funny car that I bought at Santa Pod UK, it now looks like it hit the wall LOL Go Force family (It was a metal model! Damn silly dog still chewed it)
Hey John , i heard what happen . i'm thinking of you and your family and praying that you recover back to your own self. i seen the accident and i was shocked at how much damage the car was . i then see a picture of you on the ambulance bed awake i thought to myself ,HE'S ONE TOUGH DUDE LOL. PLEASE TAKE CARE MY UNCLE AND I ARE IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
They claim the name came from the thundering roar the cars made up in the valley. I still contend it came from the sticks of dynamite thrown during the insane drunken three day parties on the nationals back in the 70's and and early 80's. hahahaha Down right nerve rackin, lemme tell you! hahaha
