The layout of this house is perfect. I would do away with the tub in master & make one large shower. Wrap around porch my favorite.
BEAUTIFUL HOUSE! only changes I'd make is use dual vanities in the bathrooms instead of giant bowls. Gives a more functional space and cleaner lines.

Nice house! I wonder if they could make just one large dormer on the roof instead of 2 small ones. That way, there would be more headroom above the bed upstairs.

This is a beautiful house. I could so live in this house. I like that it's footprint is only 39' × 39'. Works great on small lots. Great job.
My favorite parts are the floating shelves throughout, the raised sink in 2 of the bathrooms, & best of all is the wrap around porch. Also, I love the cupboards above the kitchen sink & and the open shelves in the island. Also, the loft on the 2nd floor.

Love the verandah, the television not over the fire place and a wall oven. Great that the shower is separate from the bath. Only thing not comfortable with is the door to outside in the bedroom. Just an issue with feeling safe while asleep.
I can understand that . For myself, I love it. When you have guests over and you can't sleep, it's a great escape. Also, if you get up early and you want coffee time privately, it's wonderful.

Lots of curb appeal with this one. The living/dining area is spacious and laid out to accommodate both the fireplace and the TV. There is the alternate entry for family with places to hang coats and a bench to remove footwear. The kitchen is a decent size, and if you reduced the size of the master bath you could add a small pantry. Upstairs, a fourth bedroom could be created, even with a small ensuite.
This is a well-thought-out plan with possibilities for adapting it to your particular needs. I like it!

There was a pantry underneath the stairway.
Eliminating the upstairs library and making each bedroom have its own bathroom would improve the design.
Very nice! Great design with the flexibility of another bedroom upstairs so then it would be 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms!
I really love the house but its will be better make it for 3 bedroom
By removing the small closet in the hallway near the TV would allow for a wood stove to heat the entire ground floor with a Vermont Castings Cast iron stove available in colors more efficient than a fireplace.

Love this house! I would make just a few small changes for my taste though.
I would flip the kitchen and dining room (the French doors and outside stairs would shift w/ the dinning room ); the pantry would be moved to the back wall in the mudroom/ laudary area for access directly from the kitchen instead of walking into the hall along side the kitchen Turn the current pantry in to shortage or guest coat closet.

I love everything about this house it's beautiful. I would just like to have a nice big tub in one of the bathrooms though. Showers are lovely but sometimes it's nice to have a lovely hot bath..😊❤🏡🏠🏘🌝
In my country we never enter the house straight into the living room by opening the front door. There is always a hallway or a foyer first. So that is the only thing I would change. I would give up the small porch area and enclose that for a laundry room taking away the powder room to enter the new laundry room and were the laundry room is now, I make that the front entrance with a foyer and a new powder room in the back. This is also the norm here.

Nope, hallways and foyers are wasted space and the chop up the openess and sight lines. Most people in the US enter into their home via the garage or side door from the driveway where you have a mudroom or drop zone. Only guests enter through the front door.

In my country, some homes have entry halls and some you just walk in the living room. But they are all nice houses. This one is very nice. ❤ 7:17
I have about 4 favorites of your designs that work best for grandparents and sons family type home. This being one of the best. This would only need 2 small changes to hit the perfect home. Remove master bath door and increase the porch square footage to usable space for larger shower and whirlpool tub, and linens in powder room. The other which is a maybe but in a dream home. Full Dormers on both sides upstairs . For my family and their future families
Also for my own use of course the other wise unusable space under the angle of the Dormers. Builtin dressers. Make use of available space

Enclose the rear owner's suite porch and strangely placed exterior door in the bathroom. Make that a bathroom extension, second closet, or small home office. Front upstairs bedroom is nearly unusable due to roof angle. Swap position of front door and window to align better with the front steps and flow through the living room.

Beautiful, only thing i dont like is that you come directly into the livingroom. Here in Holland we dont have that, you come in a hallway first.

Love it except for the master bath. Bigger sit in rain shower/sauna no tub and no door.
The front bedroom upstairs is the dumbest use of space…why would they put two dormers in the room to make walking around the bed impossible

An entry door in the master bath us just wrong.
I guess that if the house caught on fire while you were in the master bathroom, you could get out quickly, although probably without clothes 😬, chilly in the winter 🥶.
very nice, but the idea you come into the house and are suddenly in the living room is a bit harsh. I prefer a foyer as a room between, where you can take coat and shoes off.
I liked it except for having a door to the outside from the bathroom. I found that weird and eerie (too many true crime shows, LOL).

So I open the front door... Where does the family hang their outerwear? Where do I put the umbrella? This house looks like it was designed by someone who has never had to take off gloves, wellies or warm clothes...and sits on the toilet next to a glass door. 😅
It won't be cheap to build it like that....
