At this point, I don’t care if people use AI. I cared when chat gippity first came out because I thought it could replace my job, but as time goes on I’ve come to accept that the cat is out of the bag and I just gotta work harder to stand out. I’ve never like DB
At this point, I don’t care if people use AI. I cared when chat gippity first came out because I thought it could replace my job, but as time goes on I’ve come to accept that the cat is out of the bag and I just gotta work harder to stand out. Granted, AI is still garbage at writing good code, so I’m safe for now. For artists, I still feel for them though. AI art is continuing to grow, and I completely understand the fear they’ll be replaced. At the same time though, if bro just wants to make a goofy image, chances are they wouldn’t have hired an artist anyway. If anything I think Congress needs to regulate how businesses use AI, but I doubt that will happen for the next four years at least.

So to be fair, DBG didn't really do anything wrong here. He fired back at Skarlon, because they were being super unfair and insulting to him, but that wasn't transphobia.
As far as AI goes, he's also clean. Because AI is not the biggest issue ever, and nobody in real life cares. There's nothing wrong with it, it's a tool like any other tech advancement in human society.

Generative AI steals from artist, people do not have issues with AI in general, they have issue with AI that outright steals stuff, that' s why people attacked him. Scarlon is a drama diva but dawg was 100% in the wrong there and was doing whataboutism to get out of his situation, and then it devolved into transphobia.

Most people also see manual labor as a means to an end (a paycheck), and believe that as long as you can get another paycheck, than nothing of value has been lost

I'm beyond confused why this is even an issue to begin with. I use midjourney on a daily basis for stock image purposes at work, and so does almost everyone at this point in time. The only real argument against AI these days I see is when people are claiming it's their original work, which this guy didn't. Looks like he's using it as a generic background image. They also look like garbage from apple's image generator.

Pretty much this. Trans people are completely valid but at the end of the day, even transitioned trans people (which Jess is not) will always remain the biological sex they were born. That's not an opinion but a grade school fact. A biological man that does not look or act like a woman complaining about biological men using the women's restroom while many biological women don't want them in there in the first place is crazy. It seems like events could definitely use more male bathrooms so women's bathrooms aren't clogged by dudes and maybe a singular "family" bathroom for anyone not comfortable using the bathroom for their biological sex. The whole Jess thing just reaks of privilege and lack of self awareness
