I feel the main point of Pastor Skip's teachings are to be ready. It is the ongoing theme. As a man who always knew God but was only recently saved I feel as if though I may be a quick study or maybe not. As Christians we must learn and grow and change to show the change we experienced on the inside outwardly to show others. I'm not sure why. I have my speculations but I know I must be patient and give it all to God. I have so much more to learn yet I hope my words comfort anyone struggling with this concept. Give everything to God and allow Him to show you the way . Study read learn and connect with Him to me seems to be the key as a newbie lol . Any advice would be appreciated from anyone. Then why is he misleading people telling them they'll be raptured to heaven when only a few ( 144,000) are called to heaven to serve as additional judges with Christ during the Kingdom's rulership over the nations and mankind?

Why do u think the pre trib rapture teachers will not debate with the other views of the rapture? Revelation 20:4-6 I will tell you why because they know they will be exposed. How is it John said that the great tribulation believer's must be in the first resurrection, but the pre trib rapture view says there will be a resurrection Rapture at the beginning of the seven year period, that will not include the great tribulation believer's who must be murdered by the antichrist during the last three and a half years of the seven year period? Learning it and teaching it is not the answer… spending time with God and becoming it is the path. The goal is not the pulpit of teaching others. The goal is becoming love ❤️ like Jesus is… and showing through our actions, the kindness, the power, and the servant’s heart towards others. A changed heart occurs by spending time in your loving Heavenly Father’s presence while he saturates your soul with his amazing love. His promise? To give his children new hearts and new desires. I’m telling you this, because I was bound for years trying to “ learn and apply” but Jesus came and set me free from that hardship thinking! This is such a lie. It is ONE EVENT. Jesus does not talk about two different times he's coming back. He comes on the clouds with his angles and everyone will see him return. He will gather his people the righteous dead and those who are alive and believe at the last trumpet after the tribulation. As clear as day. That is what is written in the Bible. At the last trumpet everyone sees there is only one resurrection of the righteous dead and only one gathering of his people and that is after the tribulation at the last trumpet.

Every one will see Jesus coming on the clouds at THE LAST TRUMPET and that is when the 1st resurrection, the resurrection of the righteous dead happens and simultaneously those who are alive and believe are change in a twinkling of an eye into immortals. This really seems like a sermon for an American audience. Ask someone in North Korea. Is it worse than what they are dealing with? We can’t compare the suffering of many in the world with the minor inconveniences (by comparison) that we experienced by the pandemic in the US. This is one thing that got me out of dispensationalism. Very centered on America and what we are going through. Lots of countries are already experiencing a constant tribulation.

A key problem for Pre-Trib view is Matthew 24:32-36 32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33 so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. 36 “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." Here in Mat24, Jesus Himself mentioned the SIGNS together with the phrase "But about that day and hour no one knows". Hence the generation that sees the SIGNS of the season listed by Jesus the Christ can expect the Rapture but will not know the exact day or hour. Respectfully, Ronald Lim

However, Matthew 24:32-36 clearly states that the generation that sees the signs outlined by Jesus Christ would know that He is "near, right at the door". The passage then continues to say that "no one knows the day nor the hour". This same understanding is given by the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, which says that our gathering to the LORD is preceded by the revealing of the man of lawlessness: 2Thes2:1-3 1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being GATHERED together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. @@bigblue0202jw In addition to what Ronald says, the doctrine of imminence is that it contradicts all common sense. * Nobody knows the day or hour of anything, like the first coming or normal birth. As an event gets closer, it becomes easier to recognize the when the event will occur. * There are some passages that focus on the order of operation of the events, but never specify exactly what day or hour the rapture will occur. It could be Saturday at 11:59p, or Sunday at 12:01a. It's only 2 minutes apart, but makes a huge difference. * There is also Old Testament prophesy that must be accounted for in order for imminence to be true.
Anyone hoping for a "Pre-Tribulation" Rapture Rescue will be very disappointed, to discover that Jesus returns only once, to gather His Elect from out of the extremities of heaven and earth (Mk 13:27), within "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), just before the Wrath of God falls upon and destroys all the the wicked enemies of God ( Is 13;6-13, Jer 46:10, Joel 1:15-3-:15), shortly before the present heavens and earth are burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12).

Jesus keeps all His promises, and will come exactly when He promised (Mt 24:29-30), in order to resurrect His people within "The Last Day" (Jn 6::39-40,44,54), at least 7 years yet future. Unfortunately, some English translations are misleading, in a manner that contradicts other Scripture, thereby causing confusion (e.g., Rev 3:11, 22:7, 12, 20), in which the Greek adverb, "ταχύ" ("tachu"from which we receive "tachometer") is a description of speed, not delay or a suggestion of imminence.

I am an eastern orthodox Christian and I have been watching you for a year or more now. I do like and believe your teaching for it is really so simple and yet so truly documented by verse and science. But, I can't expect The Revelation to be literally fulfilled . I have always imagined the language symbolic and not so accurate.
Our Father is quite capable of ensuring we have absolutely accurate information for these last days. It is human wisdom that tries to spiritualise what John saw. He was given a clear vision of what was, what is and what is to come hereafter (Rev 1:19). John would have been very careful to record his Revelation exactly as it was given to him and our Lord has ensured we have access to it now. Many have been martyred preserving God’s word. It is only the traditions of men that tell us to look to God’s word with this view.

It is not even John's word or record for every single word inspired by the holy spirit but I do think there is something more behind the literal meaning. I don't believe in rapture or the thousand year rule of lord Jesus Christ on earth or the double judgement. Our orthodox faith is about another one second coming of Christ for one and only judgement day, then , the rapture of the whole triumph church to the new earth and heaven.
@@emanosama8494 I do not mean to offend but I find that God’s word can always be interpreted literally unless it is obviously parabolic or poetry. The prophecies in the OT that foretold the coming of Christ were all fulfilled literally. At times Jesus went to great lengths to ensure they were (Mat 26:54). I see no reason to believe the prophecies concerning His second coming would be any different. At present our Father is holding back the satanic hordes by the power of His Holy Spirit, when the body of Christ and the Restrainer are removed the demonic hordes will overrun the world (2 Thes 2:6) and I believe the Revelation could be literally fulfilled. You may not have seen demons in your country but many African and Asian people are very familiar with them. These are not creations of the human mind. It is only the Holy Spirit working through the body of Christ that has pushed back open manifestations of the demonic realm. If you look around you at the western world, as the great falling away is happening (2 Thes2:3), more and more demonic activity is rising. The west is being repaganised and people are now openly worshiping the satan. When God removes His church and His Spirit these evil hordes will terrorise humanity. This is the Great Tribulation and the church has no part in it.
Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

I studied with a minister who was a Biblical Scholar of Greek and Hebrew. According to interpretation the 144,000 means those who are supposed to be in will be in and those who are who are supposed to be out will be out. It does not mean a specific number. Thank You LORD. 👍🙏

I listened to skip for the first time , just curious about how he views the end times ! I was pleasantly surprised 🙀 to hear him preach what I believe to be accurate both in it's timing and the sequence and actual events that will transpire in the last of the last day!
The only problem with the rapture is that it cannot go unnoticed, unless it happens just before a catastrophic event to which so many disappearances could be attributed sort of like a beam me up scotty preceding the flash of nuclear weapons. We do pray « may thy kingdom come » and when I do it is with gravitas, respect, awe, and fear. I gave my life to Jesus watching Skip a few years back and it’s been a rocky road. In and out of my sinful habits but gradually rising out of them. Jesus forgive my relapses, I’ve come a long way but I need your help to make the cut.

It looks as if you have not been keeping up with things ! For several years now, the world has been mentally preparing humans to believe that aliens have abducted those who disappeared. Very simple explanation.
It amazes me, that while most dispensational preachers understand that the events foretold to occur in MT 23 and 24 center around, and come to completion, at the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70ad; then have the misguided fortitude to suddenly jump 2000 years into the future when Jesus includes his coming and the gathering right there within the very same texts! And it expressed as being IMMEDIATELY after the events in the previous verses!

The coming back of Jesus is equal for all generations; we should be ready for it. It does not depend on whether we are the last generation. Our individual future in eternity requires it, not the end of the world.

I feel the main point of Pastor Skip's teachings are to be ready. It is the ongoing theme. As a man who always knew God but was only recently saved I feel as if though I may be a quick study or maybe not.
As Christians we must learn and grow and change to show the change we experienced on the inside outwardly to show others. I'm not sure why. I have my speculations but I know I must be patient and give it all to God. I have so much more to learn yet I hope my words comfort anyone struggling with this concept. Give everything to God and allow Him to show you the way . Study read learn and connect with Him to me seems to be the key as a newbie lol .
Any advice would be appreciated from anyone. Plus when 2 or more are gathered in His name He is with us. I firmly believe this. God bless all of you.

Why do u think the pre trib rapture teachers will not debate with the other views of the rapture?
Revelation 20:4-6 I will tell you why because they know they will be exposed.
How is it John said that the great tribulation believer's must be in the first resurrection, but the pre trib rapture view says there will be a resurrection Rapture at the beginning of the seven year period, that will not include the great tribulation believer's who must be murdered by the antichrist during the last three and a half years of the seven year period?

A changed heart occurs by spending time in your loving Heavenly Father’s presence while he saturates your soul with his amazing love. His promise? To give his children new hearts and new desires. I’m telling you this, because I was bound for years trying to “ learn and apply” but Jesus came and set me free from that hardship thinking! He told me to develop my relationship with God and feel his love for me. I did and wow what a difference! I got to really “ know” God personally. This is such a lie. It is ONE EVENT. Jesus does not talk about two different times he's coming back. He comes on the clouds with his angles and everyone will see him return. He will gather his people the righteous dead and those who are alive and believe at the last trumpet after the tribulation. As clear as day. That is what is written in the Bible. At the last trumpet everyone sees there is only one resurrection of the righteous dead and only one gathering of his people and that is after the tribulation at the last trumpet.

This really seems like a sermon for an American audience. Ask someone in North Korea. Is it worse than what they are dealing with? We can’t compare the suffering of many in the world with the minor inconveniences (by comparison) that we experienced by the pandemic in the US. This is one thing that got me out of dispensationalism. Very centered on America and what we are going through. Lots of countries are already experiencing a constant tribulation.
Another one of those who preach comfort and cancels out Jesus teachings and say it is for the Jews

Thank you for delineating this issue so clearly. A key problem for Pre-Trib view is Matthew 24:32-36
32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near;
33 so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
36 “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
Here in Mat24, Jesus Himself mentioned the SIGNS together with the phrase "But about that day and hour no one knows".
Hence the generation that sees the SIGNS of the season listed by Jesus the Christ can expect the Rapture but will not know the exact day or hour.

@@bigblue0202jw Hi, with reference to this video, the key issue relates to Theology of Imminence which states that the Rapture of the Church is sign-less, i.e., it needs not be preceded by any event and can happen at any moment. However, Matthew 24:32-36 clearly states that the generation that sees the signs outlined by Jesus Christ would know that He is "near, right at the door". The passage then continues to say that "no one knows the day nor the hour".
This same understanding is given by the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, which says that our gathering to the LORD is preceded by the revealing of the man of lawlessness:
2Thes2:1-3
1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being GATHERED together to him, we ask you, brothers,
2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

* Nobody knows the day or hour of anything, like the first coming or normal birth. As an event gets closer, it becomes easier to recognize the when the event will occur.
* There are some passages that focus on the order of operation of the events, but never specify exactly what day or hour the rapture will occur. It could be Saturday at 11:59p, or Sunday at 12:01a. It's only 2 minutes apart, but makes a huge difference.
* There is also Old Testament prophesy that must be accounted for in order for imminence to be true.

Jesus keeps all His promises, and will come exactly when He promised (Mt 24:29-30), in order to resurrect His people within "The Last Day" (Jn 6::39-40,44,54), at least 7 years yet future. Unfortunately, some English translations are misleading, in a manner that contradicts other Scripture, thereby causing confusion (e.g., Rev 3:11, 22:7, 12, 20), in which the Greek adverb, "ταχύ" ("tachu"from which we receive "tachometer") is a description of speed, not delay or a suggestion of imminence.

I am an eastern orthodox Christian and I have been watching you for a year or more now. I do like and believe your teaching for it is really so simple and yet so truly documented by verse and science.
But, I can't expect The Revelation to be literally fulfilled . I have always imagined the language symbolic and not so accurate.
Our Father is quite capable of ensuring we have absolutely accurate information for these last days. It is human wisdom that tries to spiritualise what John saw. He was given a clear vision of what was, what is and what is to come hereafter (Rev 1:19). John would have been very careful to record his Revelation exactly as it was given to him and our Lord has ensured we have access to it now. Many have been martyred preserving God’s word. It is only the traditions of men that tell us to look to God’s word with this view.
@@lespearl50 Thank you for taking interest in my words but I think I didn't make myself clear enough. I didn't mean that the word is not accurate. It is not even John's word or record for every single word inspired by the holy spirit but I do think there is something more behind the literal meaning. I don't believe in rapture or the thousand year rule of lord Jesus Christ on earth or the double judgement. Our orthodox faith is about another one second coming of Christ for one and only judgement day, then , the rapture of the whole triumph church to the new earth and heaven.
@@emanosama8494 I do not mean to offend but I find that God’s word can always be interpreted literally unless it is obviously parabolic or poetry. The prophecies in the OT that foretold the coming of Christ were all fulfilled literally. At times Jesus went to great lengths to ensure they were (Mat 26:54). I see no reason to believe the prophecies concerning His second coming would be any different. At present our Father is holding back the satanic hordes by the power of His Holy Spirit, when the body of Christ and the Restrainer are removed the demonic hordes will overrun the world (2 Thes 2:6) and I believe the Revelation could be literally fulfilled. You may not have seen demons in your country but many African and Asian people are very familiar with them. These are not creations of the human mind. It is only the Holy Spirit working through the body of Christ that has pushed back open manifestations of the demonic realm. If you look around you at the western world, as the great falling away is happening (2 Thes2:3), more and more demonic activity is rising. The west is being repaganised and people are now openly worshiping the satan. When God removes His church and His Spirit these evil hordes will terrorise humanity. This is the Great Tribulation and the church has no part in it.
Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order )
Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation.
Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse.
Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb.
Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present?
The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ.
He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18.
The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15.
The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13.
He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet?
He comes on a horse in chapter 19.
Chapter 20?
Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1?
(The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.
Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time?
Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness?
Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner.
Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book.
The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

I studied with a minister who was a Biblical Scholar of Greek and Hebrew. According to interpretation the 144,000 means those who are supposed to be in will be in and those who are who are supposed to be out will be out. It does not mean a specific number. Thank You LORD. 👍🙏

When the antichrist declares that he is God and sets up in the temple , which they have rebuilt and are finishing up now getting ready for Jesus and the 1,000 (exactly) year reign of Christ!

The only problem with the rapture is that it cannot go unnoticed, unless it happens just before a catastrophic event to which so many disappearances could be attributed sort of like a beam me up scotty preceding the flash of nuclear weapons. We do pray « may thy kingdom come » and when I do it is with gravitas, respect, awe, and fear.

It amazes me, that while most dispensational preachers understand that the events foretold to occur in MT 23 and 24 center around, and come to completion, at the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70ad; then have the misguided fortitude to suddenly jump 2000 years into the future when Jesus includes his coming and the gathering right there within the very same texts! And it expressed as being IMMEDIATELY after the events in the previous verses!

MT 16:27,28 "For the Son of man is to COME with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Meaning: it would occur while some had passed away, and yet some would still be alive. Even Paul said to his original readers of his letter; "we who are alive and remain" He knew by Holy Spirit inspiration that some of his readers would still be alive when the coming of the Lord happened and they would be gather together.
