How to measure your gauge swatch

Hello Elizabeth, I just have one question, when you started to count the rows it looked like you didn't count the very first one you had your needle in? naturally I have been counting that one as one. your videos are terrific thank you

Hi CeeCee! When I was counting the rows, I counted the bottom of each stitch, so for that first row, I had put my DPN into the bottom of the top stitch (so maybe that's why it looked like I wasn't counting the first stitch). I hope that helps! :) Thank you!!
