Heat by Solar in the Greenhouse

Hey everyone today we are going to take some suitcase solar panels, not sponsored we purchase the solar panels, and use an inverter and put some heat in the greenhouse
Again we are not sponsored by any means we purchase the items that were using were just showing you how we hooked up the solar to a battery to run a small light in our greenhouse

It looks like my area zone 9a have an early Fall coming in as of last week, so of course my area's temperatures are dropping at night along with cool rain and my greenhouse garden isn't liking it. yes , we dont get to cold at night so the brooder light is perfect

yes I use to have the small ones that just cover the shelves , suggestion is if you get one , get the biggest one you can fit in your space, LOL , I need a bigger one already , LOL or just toorganize it better , have a great week

That's a great way to heat the greenhouse. I've wanting to get a bigger solar panel. Just have a small to charge small things. Great job and I love your helpers!

yes we dont get too cold so this works perfect , I would love to have a compact solar charger for when the power goes out to charge my phone . I guess I have to go to the green house LOL , have a great weekend

So how long does a full battery keep the heat lamp on over night? Did it maintain above freezing all winter?

about 5 hours on this small system , we need to insulate the green house more , at this point it is only good for cool nights not Cold ones

Why keep the battery out in the cold and not in the greenhouse? Doesn’t the cold damage the battery?

hmm good thought , but it doesnt get that cold here that it would drain it and we put an old cooler over top of it
