Excellent idea on using a bushing/collar on the drill bit. Those diagonal hole drillings always make me a bit nervous.

Looks great! How do you manage to connect the jack socket with the control cavity?? Can you drill directly? Do go through the bridge pickup?
I routed a channel for the wire to the pickup cavity. The top covered it. Before, I used to drill them. I prefer the routing since that long drill bit has a tendency to wander.
@@victumguitars5821 that makes a lot of sense. One of the advantages of having a top for your body.
