Holy moly! I thought when you started with the Edge Glued Panel that you were making a jig or something. But that came out great! Especially given the economic nature of the material. Also great to see some CNC work too. The neck really pops with the blue. I can see the care you put into this build and as a builder myself I can say you knew a lot of the tricks that took me a lot longer to figure out! Play it with love and a smile on your face - plenty of people are gonna have opinions on what they think you should have done different. But this is your build so all that matters is how much you love it 😎
Yeah I think it was! Two 3/4” thick panels from Lowe’s glued together. It didn’t cost much, but it’s definitely a soft wood. I hope to use a hardwood next time.
I know. I’m sorry about that. I wish that they would have turned out better, but I need to remake them. I’ve played 4 or 5 shows with this guitar at this point with 3D printed back panels. It will be interesting to see how the sound changes with hardwood panels, and hopefully it will get rid of the neck dive. 😬
This is a master class on how to spray a guitar with rattle cans. 👍
Best can paint I seen

Thank you for the kind words! I’m pumped people like you are enjoying this. It was a lot more work than I expected. As I’m sure you know! 🍻
Looks like pine

Is it a pine tree?
Hmmmmmm..... no video of the back of the guitar with the rear covers in place.

Surprised at the number of people in these videos that wear loose clothing around power tools. Great work, though.
Natural, wooden surface was better.
