Build Quest - a vlog of doing.
Briefcase Pedal Board and Loop Station
In this video I’m using a few new pedals, an old pedal, a four channel line mixer, a DIY Raspberry Pi loop station, and an old briefcase to build a pedal board that is durable, mobile, and easily set up.
The pedals include a Donner octaver, a Donner tuner, and a cut in half old Digitech multi-effects guitar pedal.
The four channel line mixer allows for a guitar and three other instruments with a 1/4” jack to run through the loop station.

A HUGE shout out to @ThePsychotenuse for the video on building the Raspberry Pi loop station!! Thank you!

A hollow body firebird style guitar that turned out ok for my first guitar build. The next one will definitely be better.

Making Leather Holsters ...... For Calipers
Просмотров 282 года назад
I'm new to leather craft. I use calipers often throughout my day, usually keeping them in my back pocket where I sit on them. One of these days, they are going to break. So...... I made a holster for me and some colleagues of mine.
Casting an aluminum dog ball & CNC Engraving

This is how I built a memorial for our dog Ally by sand casting an aluminum dog ball from the rubber one. Programming and engraving was done with a Haas CNC mill and Fusion 360.

Building a knife with A-2 tool steel using a guitar fret board for the scales.
the sound test its on the video! nice P
I want to see it closed up. Were the pedals too tall or not?
I tried to build the base to fit the pedals perfectly. It worked, but the briefcase top is a little flexible and will push down to touch the top of the digitech. But just barely.
That's really cool. Custom board just for your needs. I dig it! Nice work! Cool video editing skills.
Very cool! Subbed. I also subbed the creator of the Raspberry Pi video tutorial. I made a MIDI controller with an Arduino controller and used it to control Quantiloop, but this is pretty cool too. Funny, I just bought one of those Digitech pedals!
Awesome! Thanks! Funny thing. I’m glad I used the Velcro. I swapped the Digitech with a Blues driver. I’m diggin it but I’m glad it’s an easy swap back if I need to. I can’t wait to try some arduino stuff. It sounds fun!
The fret board and electronics would've been nice to see those steps.
Best can paint I seen
Looks like pine
This is a master class on how to spray a guitar with rattle cans. 👍
Holy moly! I thought when you started with the Edge Glued Panel that you were making a jig or something. But that came out great! Especially given the economic nature of the material. Also great to see some CNC work too. The neck really pops with the blue. I can see the care you put into this build and as a builder myself I can say you knew a lot of the tricks that took me a lot longer to figure out! Play it with love and a smile on your face - plenty of people are gonna have opinions on what they think you should have done different. But this is your build so all that matters is how much you love it 😎
Thank you for the kind words! I’m pumped people like you are enjoying this. It was a lot more work than I expected. As I’m sure you know! 🍻
Natural, wooden surface was better.
Surprised at the number of people in these videos that wear loose clothing around power tools. Great work, though.
Hmmmmmm..... no video of the back of the guitar with the rear covers in place.
I know. I’m sorry about that. I wish that they would have turned out better, but I need to remake them. I’ve played 4 or 5 shows with this guitar at this point with 3D printed back panels. It will be interesting to see how the sound changes with hardwood panels, and hopefully it will get rid of the neck dive. 😬
Yeah I think it was! Two 3/4” thick panels from Lowe’s glued together. It didn’t cost much, but it’s definitely a soft wood. I hope to use a hardwood next time.
Is it a pine tree?
